Oakland, you played your hearts out. One of the best hard hitting games I have seen in a while, you represented your coach and school well. Your QB will throw it from anywhere to anywhere on the field. Never seen so many roll outs to the right and throw back across the middle of the field in my life. Good luck in the playoffs.

Great win for Smyrna, was total team win. When you lose starting Qb middle to late 3rd qtr til basically OT and still come out with a win. No, by play up I mean move up, when next classification comes around move up to 6A. Then make them play ya thats what the "little school that could" did, and trust me the big fellas did not like it. All I know is for all the talk, I know of only 1 school that actually walked the walk and walked away with 2 gold balls in the biggest classification in Tennessee football at the time.

That is why you should follow the same route that "the little school that could" did. Play up, and prove it then that will shut everybody up. That is the difference one school talks about it (fans) and the other school went out and did it. Only problem is when you start beating the big fellas things will come to the forefront that at the moment seem to not be an issue. Rankin knows this, he despised it in middle tn and now enjoying same situation. And moving up to highest class would ruin it for him.

5-14 69 Yards 1 int. passing and -6 rushing on 12 carries not sure how accurate that rushing stat is he lost 22 yards on one sack by running back and forth but running backwards. That is when they took him out. Team total 69 passing 14 rushing.

If smyrna wins out no issue, if they don't then they get seeded wherever it puts them. As for your question sure would not like it but that is the way it is. PS don't overlook brentwood, plus if they are all in quad 3 we get to do it all over again.

Lost to smyrna because #4 could not run (72 first half 4 second half) and Qb could not pass. Now the question is can your QB keep Oakland honest? Anybody can tell this is the key in this game, was 4-8-17 yards 1 td 1 int against siegel in a 21-9 win. If he can who knows, if he can't then you can expect 2 following #4 all over the field. Qb's questioned all over the place in 7AAA but for some reason this one is forgotten? Could it be because against everyone else #4 has run for 250+ yards and no need to pass except when they wanted to except for one game which they lost. This game will be determined by blackman QB.
