  1. Wilson Central by 20.. Whether it is baseball or football, an injured Sonny Gray will sure bring your confidence down, especially playing WC
  2. It is going to be close, but I hope Smyrna wins..
  3. im going with Antioch...i'm looking at as "battle of the running backs" and i believe brown will do a whole lot better... Prediction Antioch 24 Hunters Lane 14
  4. I wouldn't say he's the best RIGHT NOW, but LaVergne's Chris Gray will open some eyes this year. He's currently 3rd in Mid. Tennessee in receiving yards and he's 15(2008)....I believe he is 6'1 and looks about 185lbs. but runs like a 4.5 or 4.6. Don't be suprised if this guy isn't Top 10 in receiving yards in Mid. Tennessee..
  5. LaVergne wins...they are preparing big for this one and is itching to get their first region win of the season...neither way it will be a close game, but LaVergne will be the real LHS of Region 4
  6. OAKLAND over SIEGAL WILSON CENTRAL over SMYRNA LAVERGNE over LEBANON RIVERDALE over BLACKMAN(tough decision )
  7. I think LaVergne's victory will boost their confidence. The way it sounds, people don't want LaVergne to win to make it easier on the other less-talented teams in the Region, but I think this year's region is more difficult and will come down to the wire for playoff spots. Centennial had an awesome QB, but he was basically their whole team. He played atleast 6 postions including special teams. This game could have easily been a blowout, but it was wet and LaVergne didn't go to the air with their spread offense and just pounded them with the run(298 rushing yards). If LaVergne wins next week against Lebanon, watch out!!
  8. Trinity will win big... MBA has some confidence buliding to do...they got talent, but has been mahnadled by every team played and scrimmaged
  9. I think if Brentwood keeps Smyrna's run down to a minimum then it should be no contest. Neither way Brentwood will come away with a "W".
  10. Don't sleep on LaVergne's X Wide Receiver Mike Hicks. He started off slow, but will be a impact in the spread offense LaVergne runs.
  11. Youree had 1 catch for 3 yards against low ranked Blackman. Chris Gray had 4 catches for 148 yards and 2 TD's against the solid Smyrna Bulldogs...plus he's a sophomore....
  12. Has two good RB's....a sophomore threat at WR and a good Dline...a different LaVergne..I believe they will easily dominate Centennial..
  13. Hey I went to the game and saw good things from both teams. I see LaVergne play their best football in a long time. They didn't pull out the victory but will compete in Region 4. It looks like LaVergne has it together this year. I like the spread offense and the intensity on defense. I really like the receiver for LaVergne. I think his name is Chris Gray? He looked real good and I think he is a sophomore. He ran good routes and had good speed for his big frame. He also came through in cluth situations. Thas hard to find from sophmore players. I think he will be a sleeper in their region because nobody knows about this kid. I think he can really be somethin. I also like LaVergne's QB Andrew Rodriguez. He has crisp passes and good feet work and very quick. Smyrna will also compete as usual, but cramps was a problem for them. They need to be in shape to complete a game. I think Region 4 will be the best region in 5A and will be exciting to watch for the next years because of all the young talent. Young Players to look for Rodriguez Wilks-Smyrna Chris Gray-LaVergne Marecio Wallace-Blackman Randall Tillery-LaVergne Sonny Gray-Smyrna
