TSU has made some great signees. Also signing Becker from Ravenwood. Also, Roger Gaines from white house. He is a GIANT. TSU is a really good fit for Gray, as they are losing 6 WR's after his freshman year. And just like Gray, TSU is veeeeeeeeeery overrated. Plus, Bather and Gray are best friends so they will definately be with each other throughout all of this.

Gray is the thing....the strongest of all receivers...

I've known his younger brother since elementary. Never got to the chance to actually sit down and meet Taylor, but I've heard nothing but great things about him, which makes matters a whole lot worse. This is very sad. Prayers go out to the rest of his friends and family.

I'm confused on who I want to win this game. This is how I "think" the scenario is. If WC wins, Lebanon would fall back but at the end, but would still have the tiebreaker on us and WC would be almost safely securing a playoff spot. I don't want that to happen. I'd take my chances with Lebanon being a #2 seed rather than a playoff spot coming down between LHS or WC. However, you never which teams are going to beat Smyrna, Riverdale, or vice versa. Its basically between LaVergne, WC, Smyrna, Riverdale. (Not that we are overlooking Siegel) The region is about to get heeeeeeeeeeeeated! Best region in the state talk is pretty much legit now.

Great game tonight. Score could have been 10 times worse..but we did what we went there to do. We also proved that it doesn't matter who the QB is on the field. Our receivers are gonna go get it. 5 TD passes, 4 different WR's, 2 different QB's.. I think they really turned some heads last night. Tillery did his job too. Is there a record for most consecutive 100-yd games? He's at a good pace with 6. Offensive MVP? The defense did great. A lot of people stepped up tonight. Especially Jeremy Durrett and Zach Looney. Both with INT's, Durrett took it back. He also had about 3 sacks and one for a forced fumble. Secondary did good. Last night was the most relaxed I've seen our team. We have to keep working though. It's about to get heated in the region.

Yeah 87 was barely out. I looked about 10 times. 82-....we will definately be refocused. I'm not frustrated anymore, just more aware of what we need to work on. I still feel the same but your right about disclosing it on the board.

Yeah, if you know the circumstances and who the players were then you would understand why I said that. Do you know who I'm talking about? Were you there? Do you know the work ethic of that player? Exactly. I could easily say names, THAT would be cold. and snapping over the holder's head IS ridiculous. Cold? I don't think so. True? yes. I'm now a believer of special teams wins games. Special teams used to be the "chill" part of practice so hopefully we can turn that around.

Can LaVergne bounce back?

When people defined close games to be determined by special teams. I never believed it until last night. Heartbroken right now. LaVergne was in Lebanon's redzone TWICE early. Tillery fumbled once and a player, which probably won't see the field again this year, flat out missed the block for them to block a field goal. We also snapped it over the holder's head on the game tying extra point. Ridiculous. The offense did a pretty good job, but started off very slow. I don't know how much I can stress that we have to get it rolling early instead of making everything interesting towards the end. The defense got bullied tonight. Point blank. We did a pretty good job for the most part, but they muscled us for most of the night. Great job on some drives, but it seemed like they took some series off. Not plays, series. On the other hand, Lebanon is a pretty good team. Very beatable, but a good team.

haha... Coach said today was the best tuesday practice of the year... We're pretty loose about friday. I'm liking that more than being excited and nervous like we usually are in these type of games. We will be ready to play friday.

82, we're focused. Today was a good day for LaVergne. Film study was good and conditioning was GREAT! Usually everyone comes in on sunday drowsy, wanting to watch the games on tv, and not fully ready to work. I am guilty of that SOMETIMES. In my 3 years of sunday practices, today was the most intense. We even offered to do extra sprints when we completed the standard running. I'm excited for friday. Everyone else is also and when everyone else is, I'm even more excited. Shay, 4-0 means something. It means that we are having a good season. That doesn't mean we are going to win a championship. Better yet, going to the playoffs. I've learned my lesson in the past years to not get excited about these type of streaks. LaVergne has every right to be proud, but let's not get too excited ya know? However, I'm glad to see another consistent LaVergne supporter on the T. I can't do this by myself!! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> lol

i'm not gonna buy into the hype. But I'm not gonna underestimate Blackman. Smyrna 35 Blackman 14 If Blackman had some pass game about them then I think they would be a lot better.

haha, well if you look at the stats for 5A and DII, we have the leading passer, rusher, and receiver. That doesn't mean anything if we don't get paydirt. We have to be more sufficient. Nr, yeah Memphis is a good school. They came to watch a game.
