  1. Ooltewah beat Walker Valley yesterday 14-7 in a pre-season scimmage. Ooltewah was hitting the ball well all night. Tyler Covington and Cody Owen each hit Homeruns. That makes 5 homeruns in 5 scimmages not to bad.
  2. I have to give a lot of credit to William Blount, they are a very physical football team, especially in the trenches. Not to mention they have a load at fullback. If Farragut can stop William Blounts running game, the Ads will come out on top. William Blount does not have much of a passing game.
  3. Look, this rivalry is not what it use to be. in fact, ooltewah doesnt consider central as much as a rival as central does. owls will come to work this week and be ready for central, owls 63-7.
  4. This game could not get any bigger for the owls. talk about a huge game! in fact, i think that the the winner of this game, is in the driver seat for region 2-5A. having the kees at home is a big advantage for ooltewah
  5. Lets face it, The owls got after it tonight and the lions didnt. The owls definately came to play and reeked havoc on RB. An outstanding performance tonight, despite an injured offensive line. infact the owls placed some kid on the line that hasnt played offensive line much. owls defeat the lions tonight 28-0.
  6. The overall offense i thought was impressive. i saw alot of good things from the offensive line and alot of great runs by Sean Sanders, Daryll Turner, Kwan Buchannon, and of course Brian Marshall. However, a huge test is coming up thursday 6 o'clock @ Red Bank. We should see abetter picture of the owls on thursday. Go Owls!
  7. de la salle? i heard of the virgina boys but i have yet to hear about the de la salle kid. wat posistion does he play? i kind of find it hard to beleive that a kid from de la salle, california would transfer to ooltewah. that seems a little farfetched. and besides rumors of all these transfers swarming to ooltewah such as kids from Cali, Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, and other private schools, why are they coming to Chattanooga? What about the parents jobs?
  8. yeah ive heard about these virginia studs. who are they and why arnt they at camp with the rest of the owls?
  9. Bradley, Bradley, Bradley....wow you really do run your mouth. you obviously didnt notice all the depth that the owls had last year. the defense only had 4 seniors last season. in fact, the owls will be just as good as last years team. First off, the defensive line may be the best in region 2-5A. Justin McReynolds, Thomas Leach, Daryll Turner, and Kwan Buchannon may be the best as they come but the overall defense is solid. In addition, you still have Brian Marshall and Sean Sanders leading the way for the offense. Also, this team is a whole lot more athletic than last years team. So bradley, before you start doubting ooltewah just remember the beating you suffered last year.(ooltewah also had a lady's state championship in basketball in 1975, get your facts right)
  10. My pick to win the state this season is in region 2-5A. the Farragut Admirals have their backfield returning and the Ooltewah Owls should be a tough test with their speed on both sides of the ball, a very athletic team, much improved from last season. the winner of this matchup at ooltewah should decide how the team will do in the playoffs.
  11. looks like the august 18th match up between ooltewah should decide on the outcome of the cavs season. unlike last year, both teams are very young and should be interesting to see how this game turns out. the owls smaller than last season but are loaded with speed. the owls defensive line should lead to many victories this season, arguably one of the best defensive line in east tennessee.
  12. If you are looking for one of the best football camps in the country it is the Offense Defense camps aka (O-D). Unlike most camps, this full contact camp lasts from morning til night and consisting of 3 sessions. I went two years ago in Nashville and have benefited dramaticly. Coaches from colleges across the country help coach tecnique as well as foot work. Ive been through alot of 2 a days and rough practices but none as tiring as these. I literally was unable to walk at the end of the day.If your serious about expanding your football career you should seriously take this camp into consideration. http://www.o-d.com/
  13. Word on the street is that Tom Weathers will resign as Head Coach Of The Soddy Daisy Trojans from reliable sources.
  14. The fact is you people are C-L-A-S-S-L-E-S-S! And I hope Oak Ridge humbles Faragut by 5 touchdowns.
  15. What game were watching. Farragut fans must be in denial or deaf, either one. The guy was simply an idiot. Hey, read up on TSSAA rules, p/a annoucers arnt allowed to cheer on the loudspeaker.
