Boy oldkober nober whatever you assume an awful lot. I think coach knows how everyone feels about him. But I will give him the benefit of watching a game before "I" make any assumptions of this year unlike yourself. Its easy for a coward to call someone a coward from the anonymity of a website.

If everything goes as planned White County Football will make a statement this year and will be in the top 10.

Observer I thought this was a WC discussion? Looks like cookeville just trying to stir the pot on you. Dont pay them no never mind. If WC wins or loses as long as they play hard and the coach puts a good game plan together thats the most important thing. Anything can happen in football. We definately have the best talent compared to cooekville. But the best team doesnt always win. Look at last year. As most you know I am not a big fan of WC coach and maybe he will do something this year.

Cookeville will prob win the game but its NOT because they have better players. Yall need to quit talking with ur hearts and I know some of you dont even have that. Im not going to single out a player that u mentioned playing on sun but he will be lucky if he plays on FRI. He has too many tude probs. His temper will get the best of him, it does every time. Boy WC fans sure dont have confidence in their team anymore, whats up wit that.

After talking with alot of the Cavs players this year and hearing how Shane Bates is going to go after them then I think its a toss up right now. I give the edge to WC only because its at their house. Dustin #3 from Cookeville has been really pouring it on lately and if Bates #47 does what he says hes gonna do then the Cavs may do well. On WC side I have been hearing alot of changes going on, I think that would be a good thing with the way they have played the last few years. They have alot of players who really want to get after it this year. Time will tell. WC has a scrimmage this week as well as The Cavs, Lets wait and see how they compete. I look forward to a great year for both teams but as always this is the key to both their seasons. My educated prediction after talking and seeing both teams.................... White CO 27, Cavs 20.

And I will never post again. I know you coaches read this .....motivate the players and let them know you want to win, I love WC and only want to see them succeed. When you act as if you could care less then that spreads through the team. Act like winners and you will be winners.

I think you all are missing the point. He doesnt motivate his TEAM, for example and maybe it will be different for the guys this year but for me and my teamates who played for him ended up motivating each other because we knew he wouldnt try to. All coaches worth their weight from what I understand have moments for their teams to inspire them to do better. This is just my opinion. Can you imagine what we could have done last year with a coach Joslin type personality. WOW

Lets not go tooooooo far now warrior, you said "we have a great coach". Now you have no credibility at all. A great coach would have done things alot different the last 4 yrs. A great coach would inspire young men to want to go out for the team. A great coach inspires his fellow coaches not ....i cant say it. I played for Brown and others and I can tell you he did not motivate me in any way. By the way what happend to coach heady from last year?d That says it all. Be careful warrior, I love your loyalty to WC but you know as well as I do he is not a Great coach. Capable yes, good...in my opinion no, great....no way.

First of all here is the problem ....if we stop people from speaking their opinion then whats next?? I am not bashing Coach Dickie Brown , I am giving you my opinion of his work. Now if you want to hear some bashing then all you have to do is come to a practice or scrimmage, now thats some angry people. The last time I checked we are talking about football arent we?? I am not hiding behind my keyboard, and most everyone knows me. I even played on last .....anyways.....I think you all need to calm down and gain some perspective of whats going on in WC and why we the fans are so upset. If you want to censure me then go ahead. I never said you dont have talented kids or they didnt play hard but you should have them. I am not making excuses Iwill state the facts. Your school is bigger, twice as many students, better equipment, the best coaches money can buy, multiple trainers (we have a real estate agent for our trainer-lol its true), and great financial backing in a large community. Now all that being said your kids are not bigger than us nor more talented. But I have to give them credit they work hard and you all spend alot of money on them. I wish you all well this season. Its just irritating to see a rich Div 5 team be so proud of beating a underfunded Div4 team. Its like the Titans coming down to play TTU and being proud of it and talk trash about it to the fans of TTU. It just show no class to some people. But again good luck this year and I really hope you do well.

Pioneer ...you make an excellant point. Ihave to admit that the best asessment by someone outside of Wc that I have heard. Although I agree with you I think WC has a good-fair chance because I believe the coach has to win or he will lose the few fans he has left. Pioneer ---thanks for the honest observation.

Hey Ben Im not your buddy.......got it. I am a White Co alum that justs speaks the truth. I know its hard for you to have to admit it when your wrong but I dont need your validation. I on the other hand like to hear the opinions of other fans and discussions in a positive friendly way. First you must have some knowledge of WC before you can say that I am wrong. I on the other hand know all the players and coaches and have an opinion where their difficulties lie. For that reason I speak my mind and do it a way that invites a response to see if other teams are facing the same issues, and how they deal with them. I am not calling for coach brown resignation, I am just saying the GOOD-OL BOY network is alive and well in White Co. Quit trying to play word games and give me your opinion.

Its funny to watch Cookeville fans be so arrogant and overconfident, just be careful and dont get beat. With the amount of money you all spend on them they should be good. I really think if coach brown doesnt give it away again then White Co really is in a great position to stop them cold. Remember Cavs you dont want to lose to poor country boys do you??

Have any of you that are predicting a Cavs win even seen White Co or are you just going by past history?? Talent wise WC is superior, their weakness of course is the coach. As of right now I have WC with a slight advantage due to it being played atWC.

Cookeville do you all have any returning varsity or are you all just sandbagging. On here Cav people are saying how they are the Favs but the coach say how this will be a rebuilding year. Which is it???

Sounds like you guys at least have some confidence if nothing else. Good luck this year, but dont overlook White Co. Overall we are a much better team and dont be toooo impressed with your scrimmage against Lebanon remember it was basically practice nothing else.
