I saw that last night. Interesting. I heard some names that were interviewed and honestly thought they would get it. I guess they felt comfortable with their own guy.
I'm not sure how he will do coaching two major sports and being the AD, but I think one main reason they probably went with him is because of his relationships with kids in the area. He will be able to keep more of those kids at MC that have been going to Adamsville the past few years which will make a big difference. They just have to be able to coach those kids up once they get them.
I didn't realize until last week how many kids East has that play both ways. I was surprised that a Memphis team of that caliber did not platoon. Shouldn't effect them much this week since Lexington plays kids both ways too but it may become a factor down the line.
