The person at the helm is very important and the AD knows what's going. The last AD really didn't care but the current AD will make the necessary change if needed, hence the basketball team. Our youth program is one of the best there is lately so its all on the parents giving the school a chance and keeping the outside coaches from recruiting them and promising them things that they don't keep their word once they get them. but Back to the ALcoa vs West game

That's a good question and the only reason why I foresee is, its sports programs haven't been up to par as of late. Plus many schools use the most recent incident that occurred inside the school to their advantage. I think if the winning was there, the students will stay around. AE has an AD that's making sure the winning is coming back. It started with the Basketball team last year, football team is next, and then the other sports will follow. Good question though

hahahaha, no actually I was happy because I was on my way to Gainesville after the game. Hahahaha but seriously though, you all started out SLOW 7-0 to a team that didn't play most of their starters is pretty much shocking. IDC who you had out there, you all only had 7 points at the end of the 1st quarter .

AE/West fan here someone stated, "Alcoa has started slow all season". I agree with that statement. Alcoa was up 7-0 over AE at the end of the 1st quarter . I believe they took them lightly but after that wake up call, they started playing football. If West can WRAP UP and tackle and or smack Alcoa's WR's on the line, I see West winning big ! Like I've previously said, "Alcoa isn't your typical Alcoa team this year!" How many players are actually Alcoa players? hahaha , I think you can say that about any team in East Tennessee but AE. The question is How many players on all of these East Tennessee teams are zoned for AE but didn't go to AE? 80% of the star players that's playing elsewhere are zoned for AE. Alcoa isn't your typical Alcoa team this year. Very Vulnerable and too one dimensional on offense. If West line can hold their blocks and protect their QB, I think West wins plus its H/C so Let's Go Runnin Rebs haha.......

I think West wins this game however, if they start slow like they did against Bearden, I think Clinton could hang around for awhile. Clinton has athletes all over to matchup well with West. However, I think coaching will lead West to Victory. West 28 Clinton 10

That's what they wanted , so let them have it. Parks and Recs is still striving without football. The daddies thought it was just KCPR so let those Daddies have that... Parks and Recs will have Metro league again soon and very soon. Paying a gate fee is dumb for youth football UNLESS its a bowl game. Any league game should be FREE , where is this money going anyway?

Totally disagree, you have daddies that think EVERY CHILD MUST WIN so they wanted to start a new league so BILLY BOB can finally win a trophy by not going through stiff competition. T -ROY is doing a great job, its just the cry babies that want to complain about everything and not get their way so they want to leave. Example; Complaining about the officials and boom the Middle School league uses the same officials.

KNOX COUNTY DOES NOT SPONSOR Youth Football , you need to take this up with YAC and or MAC league. Both those league has nothing to do with Knox County ! All teams left the Knox County league

Rec League titles means nothing compared to STATE TITLES...

I mean I agree that little league is where you learn the game the right way but if they have so many High School titles why not let the Middle School go grab some as well. However, AE middle School team just beat Alcoa Middle School team 20-8 . With that said, do ALcoa go out and recruit more players or will they coach these current players on the middle School team?

Wow, I didn't even read this until now and I was planning on going to that game but decided at the last minute not to attend. But someone stated they should quit playing for a few years; AE vs Brainerd had quit playing each other for a few years after the fight they had in basketball and I think that made the game 3 years later much better on the field .

I think the GOVS are much improved and we, AE, took them lightly. I told someone we play down to our competition level every game and this game we just flat out laid a goose egg. I'm glad you all got your first win since 2021 season, but I assure you many more will come. The QB and the brother you all have at RB will be a hard 1-2 punch to stop. I see yall got some ALcoa players on that team now haha just kidding but good win, we'll see you all next year on the hill.

Terrible? No, just first game they'll be ok. 15 /135 in penalties . Some were questionable but others were just lack of focus. Coaches will address those this week in practice

I saw Move up to 6A then you can play them. Oh I forgot yall won't move up yall like winning little 2A/3a championships hahaha yes I'm starting early hahaha But they're only playing us because we've been down the last few seasons, you know if we were the Roadrunners of the past winning years, we wouldn't be playing WB....

We got little ol' Eagleton in basketball this season, not laughing at them . And Aye, we went to MCHS last summer for a 4 way so we went back this year. We don't care who is in front of us as long as they bring the heat. So Friday, what you cooking ? or Are you staying int he kitchen because you can't take the heat.
