If you are going to discipline, make them remember it. If the kid isn't cut out for it then we don't need him. Plain and simple. It's not all about yelling. Once they buy in an start winning then you can become successful

I think the kids are just spoiled. If some changes the way they have been disciplined of course it will leave a bad taste in their mouth. And since they are spoiled they think its okay to disrespect the coach an can get away with it. Us fans get the same way that's why some of us hide behind fake names on here and speak their mind when otherwise they wouldn't.

I like Stone as a candidate. He bleeds as much orange and black as anyone I know. He has the discipline and the smarts to become a great high school head coach. He has already proven himself in little league and middle school in football, baseball, and basketball. Also in high school baseball with back to back state appearances. He has been an assistant for several years for Vic and took over Def coordinator last year. He will be in SP for the long haul. If you ask my generation and younger we vote Stone. If you ask the older generation that are 50+ in years they vote someone else because they fill Stone is too young. If I'm not mistaken Vic had less experience than Stone when he started. And Stone has been training under Vic in Vic's system for years now. Just seems like a no brainer to me. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have a Creasy, a Davis, or a Rankin. They had to start somewhere too! They didn't get where they are overnight.

My guess is since the job posting came off the board yesterday we can expect Vic to spend this Christmas break with his family. Then when school starts back the interviewing will begin. Good luck to all coaches! Whoever gets the job just be sure to have thick skin, strong family beliefs, and stay off coachT.

Difference between him and Johnson is he thinks he should see the endzone every time he touches it. Johnson just matured into a great back. Maybe Lankford needs to do some soul searching.

Where at? Harvey's? Now you really are in trouble if you believe the talk of the old timers down there. This is a new generation of kids. My vote is for a new generation type coach.

I'm sure there 60 other applicants as well. Naming a few here and there does nothing. The only way you hear these names is if you are at the school and hear these names in the office. Don't give yourself away.
