Roy I was picking my kid up at that learning center right next to the high school and field (convenient) and that Stone man had them boys lifting weights. They all came out around 430 which means theys been in there since school got out. There were some big ole boys coming outta there. Those 3 Mitchell boys are real big boys. Grider has those boys training already so heep down a bit. You know that Grider man took you to a state championship his first year and he knows what he is doing

It won't torpedo with the right set of new coaches. Vic said he is a planner. He won't let it torpedo. The town of SP is a pipeline of 1A talent

Money might be an issue. SP doesn't pay it's coaches no where near the amount that Rankin man makes.... I would think

Vic will be missed. He has taken the program to new heights and expectations year after year. It is good to hear all the respect he is gettin on here. I wish someone would tell him about it. I would like to see Stone get it, but Vic did say it would be outside the program. I bet this was no surprise to the current coaching staff so I'm sure there are no hard feelings if not promoted from within. I like the idea someone said on here about Davis from Polk. He is well respected, he is a family man, loves the smaller community, and is best friends with Vic. Out of respect you also respect Davis. Just my opinion. What about Eddie Moore?

I think Roy or one of his partners would be a great Prate coach, but according to Vic's statement for that Hargis man it's someone outside the program. He will be picky and it is a high profile job. There is a lot of talent coming through the ranks.

Roy is probably still at the football banquet. It's a sad day in SP.

I learned it from my Parents and it reflected on the field. If a coach allows it day 1 and never sets the bar, it is very hard to get their attention and keep it... Just sayin
