wow!!!!! you people have a lot of class. wishing players to actually get hurt???? you are talking about 15-18 year old kids. i wouldn't wish that on anyone. i hate that for mcnairy. there are some fine, decent people down there, but people like you reflect bad on the entire program and community.

with this game, like most rivalries, you can throw out the records. It will be fun to watch. Good luck to both teams!!

union city beats lake county by 2 TD's.......easily. i saw lake county against obion and obion is very down, but obion was able to do whatever they wanted. this will not be a game!!!!

ripley should have a field day running the football. from what i've heard and seen in a couple of scrimmages their d-line is very soft.

Humboldt will eventually dominate this game. It might be close early, but in the second half it will get out of hand!

Jabari Greer from Jackson South Side in 2000 had an awesome day. 1st place in 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, high jump, long jump and 2nd in 100. That was an unbelievable performance. Jabari went on to run track at UT and play football. He won an indoor national championship in the hurdles and plays for Buffalo in the NFL. He's a "world class" athlete.

obion is getting a great young coach. having a son that played for Coach Driggers, i can honestly say, south side is losing a great one. Coach Driggers will bring fire and determination to an already established program. The folks in Troy are getting a great family man as well. Good luck to coach driggers and obion......well except for week zero!!!!

i have been out of the area for a few months and i have been reading a lot about this mckenzie team. they sound like they have some very good 1-A talent. I was curious why a powerhouse 1-A team would not play a more competitive schedule outside of their region and classification. ( i realize they play huntingdon.....rival!!!) i would think this would more prepare them for their playoff run. just a thought???

it seems to me liberty has the edge. i believe their quarterback is back for his 4th year as a starter and they are huge. in their spring game against milan, they looked very athletic. just my opinion, but i think they are the team to beat.

good call on mcnairy, tommy browder always has those guys ready to play...but chester county. you must be the ultimate optimist. they have been better in recent years, but to contend in this region. not yet!

lexington will destroy creekwood. they have no idea the offensive weapons they are about to see. south side....at times ran all over creek wood. southside's backs have average speed at best. when buckley, smith and deberry hits the secondary.....they are gone. lex 45.....cw 7

south side will win this game, but it will be a dog fight. coach hayes always has his teams prepared for the playoffs. sure south side is down and has been decimated with injuries, but i think tradition and the playoff experience will propel the hawks over a very talented creek wood team. good luck, both teams.

Kingfish...have you actually watched SS's quarterback throw. I have been to a couple of games this year and his passes were very unpredictable. He's had a few drops, but I don't think the receivers know what to expect. It's hard for coaches to call certain things when they don't have confidence in their players. Just a thought.

I heard the score of the Gleason game and just realized they are undefeated. How long has it been since that happened? It's great to see some of these smaller programs in West Tenn. making some waves. Don't you just love football!!!!
