  1. 2500 to 1500 would be a deciding factor.....
  2. -Webb, Catholic, and CAK are all within a 3 mile radius of each other on Cedar Bluff Road, which is basically the center between Bearden, Karns, and Farragut. -Harrison Smith lives in the Bearden school zone. -This pretty much explains Knoxville HS football in a sentence. -Bearden still is a power in track. -Haha, i just thought that was kinda funny, but seriously, the wing-t really isnt getting it done over in Karns.....
  3. As for Bearden and Farragut, the questions you raised are certainly valid. Bearden has not had alot of help from the administrators in the past, but more importantly is the loss of talent. Its hard to have a strong program when the best players in your area end up moving into another schools zone or going to a private school. Bill Wilson has certainly gotten Bearden back on the right track as well as a very strong Junior class which won the area Midget championships and stayed together to Bearden. The futures of all three schools may be in jeopardy though with the building of Hardin Valley, which will pool from all three and will likely pull alot of athletes. Who knows, maybe Hardin Valley will become the West Knoxville version of Ravenwood. West Valley Middle is the primary feeder for the new high school and it has had alot of success in its short future. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few years.
  4. Well after going to last nights game at Fulton im gonna say that Harrison could almost make a bigger impact at receiver than at safety, he had several AMAZING catches.
  5. The situation that you decribed with the muffed kick happened to Bearden against farragut in 2003, and the referees called it a farragut touchdown. farragut ended up winning by like 3 points or something because of that touchdown, kinda annoying......
  6. Is centennial really that bad? When i went to Southern Ice this weekend in Franklin i drove by Centennial and thought, "Wow" it looks like such a nice school with LOTS of spirit, (the cougar heads everywhere..etc) How many students do they have? It just seems like a school that nice would have a very strongly supported football team.
  7. Well, Bearden was the first team besides Maryville to beat them in several years....
  8. Well knox central, the number 2 team in the state in 4a sure showed how much better 4a is than 5a on friday.....
  9. Hey ORcat, sorry for the delay, how about images 3287, 3374, and 3341 to rideburton@comcast.net
  10. I was there as well as about 60 other players, just a normal combime really, did 40, shuttle, vertical leap and bench press. The most reps at 225 were 23 by a lineman from a school i had never heard of but Adam Wigren of Farragut and Jacob Thompson of Austin-East each did 21. Most of the 40 and shuttle times werent all that impressive because of rather high grass.
  11. ORcat, the booster website wont work everytime i have tried to buy pictures, what do you think the problem is?
  12. Jake Slaughter from Auburn and formerly of Brentwood Academy signed with the K.C. Chiefs, hes one of my best friends cousins, so i got to hear all about the combines and whatnot. B.T.W he Benched 28 reps at 250, had the fastest fullback shuttle time and ran a 4.6 40 at his last combine.....
