After reading most of these posts, it seems like almost everyone from east tennessee unsurprisingly picks east tennessee teams to win but I think these people are in for a surprise on how good the west tennessee teams are. I think dyersburg and northside have a good chance of making some noise in AAA and i think westview and obion will do the same in AA.

The D-burg cheering section was the best it has been all year. I think the girls fed off of the crowd and played one of their best games of the year. I also think the crowd scared Ridgeway because they only shot 20% and missed lots of easy shots.

Dyersburg beats Northside in Region 7AAA (43-38). They hold Northside to 14 second half points.

I say d-burg wins again by about 5-10 points.

I think it will be Northside and Dyersburg in the championship again. Does anyone know when the semi-final games are going to be played? I think Northside will win by double digits and Dyersburg will have a tough game, but pull it out by seven.

I didn't get a chance to make it to Northside tonight. Did D-burg win and if so, who are they going to play next and when?

I agree with dburgfan. This team has worked extremely hard this year. They split with westview and swept obion this year. Their 2 best players are returning. The lady trojan future is still bright, even though they are moving to a harder district.

Dear occhsfanviamyteamsucks, You have no room to talk about teams getting swept seeing that your team is 4-24 this year, and have not been half-decent in the past years. Your team does not even have a very good freshman team, compared to uc and dburg. Dburg freshman dominated your JV team in two games. Your JV team includes sophomores and probably juniors.

You were half right. Northside did win but it was only by about 8. They sank free throws at the end to extend their lead. They did not win it easily. If it wasn't for a missed dunk for Dyersburg, I believe they would have pulled out the upset. Dyersburg might be the third best team in their district and they might be down this year, but they are still in every game they play.

Yes I do believe it is his son. I think that # 13 and # 51's names are both Michael??? I heard that #51 was from Canada. I think that Dyersburg has great potential. They have great 3-point shooters and already have about 4 people that can dunk.

I'm not sure but i think the young fellow's name is Victor McLin. If I'm not mistaken his older brother plays for the varsity.

Both teams played well. It was a hard-fought, poorly officiated game but I think the better team came out on top.

Chip10 good to hear from you. Hadn't talked to you in a while. How's school going? You still playing baseball?? That being said, I played for Dburg last year and we graduated 7 seniors. This year's seniors are going to need to step up and be leaders. I know these 3 guys and they should have little problem being good leaders as they are all outspoken and determined to win. From what my brother tells me, these 3 have been leading practices pretty well. What's going to hurt them is not having a go to guy as we have had in the past. Good luck this year and I'll always be pulling for you.

Dyersburg's game against Munford did have a crazy ending. Dyersburg was down 27-7 and came back and took the lead late in the 4th quarter, 33-30. Munford drove down the field and kicked a game-tying field goal as time expired. Munford got the ball first in overtime and only got a field goal. Dyersburg ran it in on their first play, to win the game.

there was no world series ten years ago. 1994 was a strike year. everybody knows that. although i do believe that the montreal expos might have won it that year.

u can talk about the next 2 years all u want but what everyone else is worried about is right now and thats all that matters.
