you should be ASHAMED of yourself!!! Sitting here talking about an 18 year old kid who is probably one of the most humble kids ever is just intolerable. I hear all these negative things on here about Golden and I can guarantee you that most of you who bad mouth him are grown men with jobs. and to sit here and look at some of the things you "haters" say about him is comical!! For you Golden "haters" out there if Tate was at Ryan you guys would think just as highly about him as we do here at JPII for several reasons: 1-He is the best athlete in the State of Tennessee PERIOD. 2- He is a "no sir" "yes sir" type kid with very good manners. 3- He is very humble and always points out to thank his teammates for his awards and achievements. So before you sit there and put this negative stuff about a High School kid, just think about this before you start stroking your keyboard, "How would I feel if this was my son or daughter they were talking about." or "how would I feel if it were me they were talking about?" Well last year wasn't it Brian Sneed who scored FOUR TOUCHDOWN'S against you guys???? I think he did. So don't sit there saying Golden is ALL we have. Yes, he is a very big part of our offense, but like last year, we have many weapons on offense And our defense should be improved..

I wouldn't be so sure Father Ryan's O-line and D-line is gonna "waltz" over JPII's "stick" figures. I am sure JPII's lineman have been working- maybe not as hard as FRHS - but I'm sure they are working. As for Tate he is not our only weapon. Actually, we have two Tate's who will see a great deal of playing time on offense. Our line will be tough. This should be a great game, but we are not getting ready for Ryan right now. We are getting ready for Greenbrier, which is our week zero game!!! I invite you to come see our game versus Greenbrier. It should be a great game in a great atmosphere!!!

Well your "close" Knight contacts have not seen our starting QB throw recently. He is looking very good, making strong accurate throws . i don't think this team will "struggle" to be as good as last years team. Our defense will be better than last year with lots of speed in the Defensive secondary. We will let our actions speak come August 18... ITS FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!

Not only does JPII have Golden Tate at receiver, but a kid by the name of Josh Lovett. He was the anchor leg for the 4x200 that won the State this year. Some say he is faster than Golden.He is getting recruited by South Carolina along with other DI schools..

In my honest oponion The BEST Game of Week Zero is Pope John Paul II HS at Greenbrier!!! Get to see one of the best players in the state in Golden Tate!!! Last Year JPII Pulled away with a victory. Should be a dog fight!!!

Tate Has offers from just about every SEC school. Notre Dame is very interested and he has several offers from big name programs outside of the SEC. He is the BEST all around player in Tennessee. He can score in so many different ways its sick!!

I think he was referring to the #1 Prospect in Tennessee. And I do think Golden Tate is in the top 5 in the nation I really don't think they would. I know one thing if all three of these guys were on the same team the QB would throw for about 6,743 yards and about 87 TD that year!!!

The best Receiver to ever play in the NFL came from Mississippi (Jerry Rice Mississippi Valley State), the best running back to ever play in the NFL came from Mississippi (Waltor Payton Jackson State) and two of the best QB in the NFL in their prime came from Mississippi (Brett Favre Kiln, Mississippi University of Southern Mississippi) and Steve Mcnair (Mount Olive, Mississippi Alcorn State)

If Hannah Brenzie is on top of her game on the mound JPII will be hard to beat. Just ask Brentwood Academy. She pitched a complete game shutout and gave up only two hits. If her changeup is thrown for strikes YOU BETTER LOOK OUT!!! And the good news is that she is just a Sophomore

WOW!! Being compared to Reggie Bush when your just a Junior in HS is not bad. Bush is Bush and Tate is Tate. I have seen Bush play and he is a freak. I have watched Golden play the past two years EVERY game and he is a freak as well. It is going to be a lot of fun next year watching this young man play. If anyone has not seen him play you REALLY need to come watch him play!! IT'S WORTH 5$

Golden Tate from Pope John Paul II is the best all around player in the State . He plays RB, WR, DB, punt returner, kick returner, and he punts. He is a Reggie Bush type threat!!
