If Signal has to leave all of their illegal players, Polk should be able to give them a good game.

Why would the TSSAA come to the school to investigate this particular player if the player had already been declared elgible by TSSAA? That does not make sense.

Not a Baylor or Ensworth fan, but appeared Baylor got screwed on the touchdown pass call. I see no way that should have been called a touchdown. It should have been either waved off or called an interception. Just the way it appeared in the replays.

Most Red Bank fans are expecting to see the best team they have seen all year. The Red Bank Lions. GO RED BANK....!!!!

I am a Red Bank fan that was at that game sitting down low at mid court. It was a great game in a great atmosphere. I think Bradley is also a great team with a very outstanding point guard with a couple of great post players to compliment him. Red Bank is a also a great team with a very long bench. Ten athletic players and at least nine good three-point shooters. Most of these guys have been playing together since middle school. Red Bank likes to run, press and play agressive which does tend to create more fouls than the opponent in a lot of cases, which I think was the case at Bradley. There were mistakes made by both teams which could caused the game to swing in either direction. The major problem I have with the officiating would be the technical call with less than eight seconds left in the game. With Red Bank up by two and Oglesby with the ball, Benford was playing an agressive defense, and I have no problem calling him with a foul (his fourth). It then appeared that Oglesby had hold of Benford's jersey with his hand and Benford pushed his hand off. The official then called Benford with a technical. There was not a blatent tecnical. IMHO, a good official would have either made a 'no-call' or called a 'double-technical,' because the official had taken the outcome of the game out of the control of the players. Anyway, great game, great performance by T O. Hope we can play well and return the favor at the Lions Den. Have a great Holiday!

As a Red Bank fan, I can't see what your problem is with this Hall of Fame issue. Under TSSAA rules you can elect to count or not count the games in your official record. Last year Red Bank won both Hall of Fame games and elected not to count those wins and I believe ended up with a even record or one game above .500. This year Red Bank split in the Hall of Fame and did not count either the win or loss. So, our record is either 20-3 or 19-2, so what. As far as being overrated, we may be. I couldn't really say without seeing the other top ten teams. I do know that Red Bank is quick and can play good defense and shoot well. When it does all three of these, they can win games with ease, but when there is a breakdown in any one of those areas the games will be close and there may be a loss. Best of luck to Red Bank the rest of the year.

As someone who was at the game, there are a couple of reasons I thought that Red Bank did not win by more. First, I thought Ooltewah seems to be playing a lot better in recent games with a little more confidence and better decision making. Second, I think Red Bank has not shot the ball real well in the last two games. Last night they just shot somthing like 28% from the field and were 2 of 20 from three-point range. I look for them to work and improve this % before next week.

As someone that knows what Red Bank 'is and is not' counting, our record as submitted to the newspapers was 15-1 which does not include either of the Hall of Fame games. Not sure why that one is listed on Coach T and not the loss to Cleveland, but we are officially 15-1 and 0-1 in district play.

The real question for Friday night would seem to be ; Will the BBHBCS (Boyd Buchanan Honorable Beckham Concession Stand) be up and running like a well-oiled machine ? Since his honor has been brought back out of semi-retirement....it should be fine. What's up with the $3.00 Cumberland Presbyterian parking tho? Good luck to both teams!!
