Thanks for the great comments about our fine new head coach. He is not only a great football coach , and motivator for our young eagles he is an outstanding person as well someone whom the community is and should be proud of. We are truly blessed to have such an outstanding role model for the young people in our community. Keep up the good work Coach , we love ya here in cosby. GO EAGLES !! take it to harriman.

That was a great game i thought you guys had them. I was glad to see harriman pull it out only because i feel like we match up better with them. you guys have a great team . that young back you guys have is going to tear that region up the next 3 years. Good luck with cloudland they are tough you wont move the ball as easily on them as you did harriman , they are not hardly as quick but they are very physical and hard to move off the ball.

I watched midway play harriman , you guys only put 21 on them. I'm here to tell you that you will not put 35 on cloudland, their defense is bigger , stronger , and almost as quick as harriman. play hard and you might win but you will not put up 35. my prediction. Cloudland 20 Midway 7

Ive seen the scores from some of TC's games all season and it looks like their second and third team has got to play (or should have played) quite a bit this year , so using that they deserve the chance to play excuse is crap. I don't have a dog in this fight but it is rediculous to imagine putting up 91 on anybody. only reason you should run the score to that is if the other team has 90. Heres some ideas, punt on second or third down ,if they cant tackle you before you get a first fall dowv on their 33 and try a fifty yard field goal. heck fumble the snap if you got second team center and Qb in the game blame it on them so it dont look like you did it on purpose. What goes around comes around and people will remember this forever. be glad you have a good program there at TC , and pray you do for a while because the first team who has a chance to hang large numbers on your tail is going to do it.

36-26 again this week we get the win without the score we expected. although the score doesn't reflect the game. Our coaches could have really poured it on them in the second half had they wanted to , but they got some youngsters a lot of valuable playing time. Good season so far Coach shelton take it to harriman next week fire your kids up , and see if you can't keep those coaches under control in the locker room

Your right our region is usaully fairly weak , but with hampton coming in , cloudlands normall strong play , and my boys from cosby are no push over this year , i believe teams 1-4 are the best overall our region has had in a while. i agree region 2 is strong and that hampton is really the only clear cut favorite in round 1 but i think cloudland , and cosby both have a good cahnce to advance. Go region 1 lets see each other in rnd 2

Hey ive seen midway play they are a very good team , but i think you can getem. they can run and throw pretty well. they have a freshman runner whos a beast stop him and you should takem. Go Region 1 lets put each other out in rnd 2

Hampton will walk the dog on greenback or sunbright either one it don't matter. I believe cloudland will have a tough time with midway , i've seen midway play and if cloudland keeps there head up , and don't quit if they get down they can take midway, in a close one. My eagles are going up against a quick, but small harriman team who noone is going to give us a shot to beat , but my boys are going to take care of buiseness at grace tonight and go into the playoffs as winners of 6 out of there last 7 games. My prediction is a better game than anyone expects with the blue team nobody expects to win coming out on top. Good luck unaka they are a much improved team but coalfield will be tough.

Congrats hampton , now all region 1 teams need to hit the playoffs flyin and have our own region 1 playoffs in round2

Coach Shelton keep that defense playing like theey are , and with the return of some key starters this week i believe the eagles will go out and take care of buiseness sealing that #3 spot and a top notch 6-4 record (should be 8-2) but we'll talk about that later. great job this year coach but don't stop now fire those young eagles up and roll into the platoffs the mindset for victory , and a long stay. make those b-ball players wait a little while to start there anual trip to murfreesboro.

Hey I heard you guys are playing thursday , is this true? if so i think i might make the 2 hour drive to see this one. Hampton fans hate me for it but i still give the nod to cloudland , but would like to be prooved wrong. if it was at hampton i may think otherwise , but it is hard to win at cloudland. This should be a great , hard hitting game cloudland has a great rushing attack while hampton may have the best run defense in 1a #54 and #47 are two of the best linebackers ive seen at this level in some time. whichever team develoopes some type of passing game may take this one. Cosby 14 kings 6 , not hardly the score we were lookinjg for but hey a w is a w. cosby had the ball inside kings 10 , 3 times and couldn't poke it in , but kings had a very big strong and athletic d-line , and they played a great game. good job EAGLES you make me proud every week. go out and take care of grace next week and its looking like we get a trip to harriman for the first round of the playoffs.

You guys have only threw the ball about 10 times this season I hope he hasnt thrown many. uh he threw 1 more than ours did friday night. Our next 2 games are with teams from Knoxville we usually beat and they dont whine or brag near as much as you guys. Hey Pujo I wish i could stay up all night and do this but i gotta turn in , besides we have already slung more mud than the boys did friday night. Oh by the way you didnt have a cpmebavk to that 2-2 record between cosby and hampton.wasup

I'm sorry guys your right cosby has no buiseness even playin football up there in carter county where apparently the game was invented. by the way you forgot to mention the int. lunsford threw in those inflated passing stats. if either one of you watched the game and were honest about it you would kill to have our QB. Listen guys I'm tired of trashing each other . how many times do I have too complement your team and players and how bad will we ever have too beat you too get an ounce of respect. Oh by the way that win for hampton against cosby evened the series at 2-2 dont believe me look it up. I believe we may lead the series with Unaka if not it is awful close, and I must admit we have only got cloudland once. Hey pujo , dont get so excited i'm not knocking hampton they are an outstanding team. I just feel cloudland is better. you are right we did move the ball on cloudland and so will hampton , but good luck stopping them. as for hampton dominating the game friday with 200 yds rushing to 9 , tell us the passing stats from that game . i believe that went cosbys way something like 150 to 9 so the total stats werent as lopsided as you say.lucky pass to score maybe , coach campbell wishes he had a QB who could throw the ball 50 yds in the air on target in a downpour. If it had not been raining townsend may have rushed for 300 yds but Rone (cosby QB ) would have passed for about 400 and hampton would have had to have all 40 of those points per game they WERE!! averaging. Please dont mistake anything i say for trash talking i dont want to be looked at like the king. Cosby and Hampton both have very good defenses which was the main reason for the low score. I feel like the rain hurt both teams offenses Cosbys passing game , and hamptons speed and power in the run game although they still ran the ball very well. Hampton should be very proud of townsend not only is he very talented he is as tough of a young man as i have ever seen in highschool football. I'm not talking smack when i say this Cloudland will beat hampton.
