GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO 2:00 TOMORROW!

I don't think so. Last weeks game against McKenzie was broadcasted on NFHS network for $10 and from what I hear didn't work for most of the game. Only thing I know for sure is that it will be on the radio on 100.9

2017 was a battle. 2018 we jumped out to a early lead, and fell flat and was in TROUBLE. 2019.. your right.. butt stomping. 2020.... hoping for a good, injury free game! (hoping we are able to pull away with the victory)

The noise I'm hearing is, we are fully expecting this game to take place tonight. If it does become severe, then they would for sure play tomorrow night.. BUT fully wanting to play tonight.. WITH THAT BEING SAID.... time for the Mustangs to STOMP on these kitty cats coming to town tonight! In all seriousness, I am expecting a WAR. I think these boys got a wake up call last week and are wanting to prove they are worthy to play on that field. Im thinking a game that will be decided within a Touch down. I guess Saturday is OK, if they would just go ahead and make the announcement of no game on Friday.

ONLY thing I can think of is they wanted 1 more practice???? Not sure of any other reason you could come up with to want to try and play on Friday. Disappointing.

I have a hard time believing that Swenson and leadership wouldn't want to play on Thursday. Would be best for both sides plus fans to play tomorrow night. Whatever the decision though, I expect a good game and will be there in the rain or not in the rain! Praying for SAFETY for both teams!

Right now..... #19 Cade wood got the majority of the carries last week and also starts at linebacker. Really need 2 or 3 more to step up and be leaders of this team.

I am a die-hard Mustang fan.. but unless every team in 1A is as down as Huntingdon is this season, no way we are the 3rd ranked team. The Waverly game this week tell the story if Huntingdon had a fluke loss last week or if they are as down as they appeared.

Last week as expected was a rough night for the mustangs. I was proud to see us not give up after being down 14-0 and eventually leading the game in the second half. Our offense is going to struggle for a while. I thought our defense played a heck of a game. Seeing as how our offense have McKenzie a short field a majority of the game. With that being said I see Waverly being very similar to McKenzie. We can’t allow them to go up 14-0. I really hope we give the ball to tayshawn rivers a little more. Could provide a spark to our offense that we obviously need. kicking game is non existent, gotta score and go for 2 every time , hurt us when we don’t convert that as seen Friday night. our seniors are going to have to grow up fast and realize that it is now their time to have the game on their shoulders. Obviously, things could always change at the last minute... But what I can tell you is.. - -Mckenzie was given 250 tickets to sell and to distribute. - -50% capacity for the stadium(no idea what that number officially is) no tickets will be sold at the gate, Pre sold tickets only. No online purchase if I read correctly.

Just heard that McKenzie will only have 250 tickets allotted to them. Not sure if that means no tickets at the gate or if there is now a limit on how many can come in. Disappointing, but understandable.

That was the initial decision. A week later they were allowed to start practice on August 10th, they had to practice this past Sunday for 2 hours to ensure that they would have the required 10 practices before gameday. This Thursday will be their 10th practice.

Curious on how much of a crowd Mckenzie will bring? I am sure size will be affected on both sides of the stadium. I do know that there are no limitations as of now at the stadium.

Hoping that we are able to play this week! Thoughts from the GURU- This game scares me- -- a whole bunch of unknowns for this year. Its no secret that yes, Huntingdon has lost ALOT of players. More so than I can ever remember from one year to the next. Starting HB out with broken shin, lots of inexperienced lineman playing in the starting rotation. No scrimmages, jamborees, and limited time of practice. We will learn alot about our boys this week. The determination and heart of each player will have to overcome the obstacles this team has faced! I expect Mckenzie to come out swinging! I expect them to come into this game knowing they can win, and will do everything in their power to make that happen! I am predicting that Tayshawn Rivers is going to show everybody that he is ready and he is more than capable of carrying the load this year. Rumor I've heard is he and his wife want to travel.. this is his daughters senior year. Another daughter in Knoxville. Hope he stays but wish him the best in whatever he decides

Lost to a better , bigger, stronger, team. Plain and simple. Refs were a non factor, coach swenson opened The playbook and did all he could. The other team was just better. So proud to see both teams hugging each other after the game. This game was fought hard on both sides. To our seniors, thanks for a great season, you will be missed! Shame on you for blabbing one kid for the loss. ... Yes 3 fumbles hurt... But so did the block in the back in the kickoff return for a touchdown, so did the 2 - 80 yard touchdowns on the first play of the drives. So did the interception. We lost due to several reasons. Snyder is the real deal. The coach is the real deal. The entire falcons team is the real deal. Great atmosphere for both sides tonight. Best national anthem I've ever heard. It was a great night for football. Lastly, if the rumors are true and this truly is the end of the swenson era, I say THANK YOU!,, you have served us well and it will be a shame if you are coaching else where due to the ignorance of some spoiled fans we have.
