What is everyone's predictions for your favorite teams win/lose record, including how far you think they will get in the Playoffs if they make them. Also name your teams most likely player or players that has the best chance to get nominated for a Mr. Football Award this season. (Include the position you think they could get it for). This is only to have fun and is each person's personal opinion.

Wow, I have not went by and seen it yet but I'm going to the midnight practice tomorrow at midnight. They will be going in FULL pads for the first time this year! Can't wait to watch. You gonna stay up and go watch with me 89?

Thanks, I knew those 3 were playing as Coach sent me a rough copy of the list of players he had this summer but was not sure of a couple players grade. Now I have confirmed that we actually have 19 Seniors on this squad for 2016! That's got to be a record or something. I'm going to do some research and see if that isn't a Wayne County record for Seniors on 1 team.

My roster from last yr shows Leavitt was a JR. #76? Maybe they listed it wrong.

I'd rank this Region for the 2016 season as follows... 1. Nashville Christian 2. Trousdale County 3. Jo Byrns 4. Monterey 5. Gordonsville 6. Middle TN Christian 7. Clay County 8. Red Boiling Springs 9. Pickett County I wanted to point out something about JB. They gave up a total of 55 points to the 10 teams they played last yr that does not include NCS. That's an insane number! Gordonsville looks like they have an astounding 20 seniors on their 2016 team! So I got to put them up there as a team that very well could end up going 6-4 or 7-3 and securing #3 or #4 seed. Also I think MTCS will fight and very well could end up as the #3 or #4 seed over JB or Monterey as it looks like they return a tremendous amount of talent and didn't lose but a few Seniors.

I know this year's team has at least 17 but possibly 18 or 19. I'm checking on 2 players Grade as a handful of them did not play last year but where HS students.

That 2011 team actually had 17 Seniors on it also. All 22 starters from both Offense & Defense were Seniors! Even our Kicker, Punter, Holder, Long Snapper, Kick Returner & Punt Returner ALL were Seniors! Such a special group of kids!

That's totally fine. I would like to see a list of official teams that a would classify as either 2A or 1A private schools for this coming season. I think I am missing a few from my list but it's a good start for a list.

Hey Traders, I looked and Fayette Academy & Tipton-Rosemark are in D-II... St. Mary's is a all girls school aren't they?

I'm going to list the ones I seen and some posters may find a few that I didn't mention, please add to the list if anyone sees that I missed a school. 1A Privates: Clarksville Academy Columbia Academy Grace Baptist-Chatt Grace Christian-Franklin Middle TN Christian Nashville Christian School 2A Privates: Boyd Buchanan Grace Christian-Knox Jackson Christian Silverdale Academy Trinity Christian Tyner Academy Let me know if I missed any or 1 of these is not a Private school. Was not 100% on Tyner..

I have to point out some flaws in Murphy's magazine and his breakdown of the Wayne County HS Wildcats. Rice has a career record of 176-113. He has a career playoff record @ WCHS of 21-15. WCHS has an all time record of 26-24 in the TSSAA Playoffs dating back to 1987. Preston Rice is 6'2 not 6'0. Also the article does not mention a couple of players... At the WR and DB spot, Senior, DJ Rich (#1) will help the team especially on special teams. Paxton Prince (#54), a senior All State Preseason pick for 2016 was not listed among the Offensive line players but will most Def. be an anchor this yr. We return 3 starters on the O line, Bratcher (#70), Lowe (#55) & Prince (#54). Joe Birchett (#20) had 6 Sacks last year not 3.

Looking at the list of private schools... It's not as many as people think. I am only seeing 5 privates in 1A & 6 schools in 2A. I may be wrong but there is not near as many schools and will not cause much change in the current 1A & 2A teams.

Wait yall have 150 band members??? Holy crap man. And 25 cheerleaders?? Lol that is insane and hard to fathom. We have. Roster of 61 players and are always between 50-60 players but have a band of probably 25-40 & 10-12 cheerleaders. We got 318 kids in our HS, give or take a few but never dreamed of having a band that size! I see Union City had an Enrollment of 397 back before the 2015 season and had heard yall was destined for 2A. It should be a little bit better competition but IMO yall will still dominate and would need to play up to 3A to have serious competition. But I hope yall go to 2A and destroy Adamsville!

Yeah there is a reason our Mr. Football Runner up threw for over 30 TD'S in the reg season!! We will run alot but will throw when we need too and sometimes just to set up our running game.

By my numbers from the '15 school year exactly 30 teams had Enrollment at 299 or below. 2 of those teams was private so I think if you raise that number to just over 300, maybe around 325 then you could be onto something! Edit: That puts the school # at 34 if you include Enrollment up to 325 students. 29 if you go 299 and under.
