i think clint's an excellent coach, but bobby brown over @ lebanon is at the top of my list best defensive mind i've ever been around so your guess would be wrong ha ha ha you think you know me, and adam keeton is the best coach @ trousdale he'd be my number one in 1A followed by jason dobbs, clints just a figure head for PR relations, colin meyers is a close third.

i agree i think it quite a disgracefull thing to transfer to win a ring and yes it is sad that some people stoop to that level. we've had people move into our community just to play with a better shot @ state, personnally i have no respect for those individuals, most of who road the bench to state, not all though. my main grievance is the fact that some of these current players get on here saying we deserve respect, hey look at us we're great. it goes back to the old saying, "let your actions speak so loud that no one here's a word you say". again i just don't think respect is something you ask for or say why don't you respect us. i think programs that make it to the playoffs annually do derserve respect but, they lose mine when they get on here and whine that they don't get what they think is enough. IMO i have more respect for the kids that play on teams that rarely if ever win, and never say anything about respect. because they aren't playing for the opinions or respect of others they're just playing for the love of the game(man that is so cliched )

because thats how you earn respect in high school football by taking it. nobody goes out for football and say's i want to play on a team that makes it to the playoffs every year and then loses in round 2 or 3. or says i want to post a decent record but fall short of winning it all. every player dreams of winning it ALL, and to the real dedicated athletes that's all that matters, if they got beat last year and didn't win it all.then they chalk that up as a failure. they couldn't care less who respects them, they're always in the weight room or running or bettering their game in some way. they're bustn tail so next year they can try again at winning it all, because it's not about respect or accolades or recognition from the press or whoever, it's about getting to the top of the mountain and any thing short of that is unacceptable. you don't become respected by being an annual choke in the playoffs, if you want respect then you get it by dominating everyone that's trying to get what you want, and that means winning it all. on a side note; in referance to the first post on this thread it makes me sick to my stomach when a player gets on here and wants to know why their team isn't getting the respect that they THINK they deserve. that is so ridiculously self serving to one's own ego. let your hat do your talking, if you yearn for respect that bad get off your computer and go lift some weights, quit asking for respect and try earning it. after his pro bowl snub in 2005, a reporter asked rodney harrison if he felt like he had lost respect throughout the league. harrison's reply..................... you couldn't beat union city last year and your talking on all these boards about how you all are gonna win state this year you are in for a rude awakening my young friend. becarefull about being a current player and boasting on here thats very inviting for alot of criticism

FCS is gonna be tough to beat, especially tough to beat twice. Gordonsville won't be that big of a problem, IMO

you people are robbing your own team of the dignity that comes along with a state championship. a brilliant football coach(one with more than 1 championship)once told his team in regards to scoreing touchdowns and endzone celebrations. "when you get the 'privilage' of scoring a touch down, don't act like it's the first time you've ever been in the endzone, shut your mouth hand the ball to the ref and go do it again".
