  2. Who is the favorite and perhaps the darkhorse? Memphis Elite #1 Seed Crossville Thunder # 1 Seed Tennessee Tornadoes # 1 Seed Tennessee Dream # 2 Seed Tennessee Team Glory # 2 Seed Tennessee Net #2 Seed TN Extreme # 1 Seed Dyersburg Storm # 2 Seed
  3. email address listed in post above
  4. Sharpshooter is the primary bench coach for the TN Tornadoes. He was brought into our organization for two reasons. Most important he is a Christian man. Second he gets players scholarships and prepares them for next level. I am the GM and deal primarily with player recruiting. We have 4 Christian coaches on staff. Due to our recent success we will be expanding age divisions next year. With the rising price of fuel you no longer have to drive 50 miles to get this type of environment. It is right here. If you would like a tryout next year then let us know. We would be happy to speak with you. We are just as excited that Sharpshooter will be coming to GP. The new staff is already making positive changes. In time they will make some noise. My email is tntornadoes@comcast.net
  5. Enrollment @ GP is steadily growing. I saw where Ezell dropped to 1A. Due to growth GP may end up in 3A very soon. Spann is as good as anybody in the city. Spann & Sharpshooter would make an awesome staff. Congrats on Ezell's new coach. He is very deserving. GP & Ezell will be fun games this year.
  6. I can tell you first hand he has made a huge impact at camp. That was a very young team last year. Give him a few more months and watch out. He is that good. Also bringing Sharpshooter with him is a major deal. The fact is we are on the way up because we have Joey Spann and you don't!
  7. Dan Carter has to be the first choice @ Ezell. Spann is clearly a brilliant coach. Goodpasture is very fortunate to have him.
  8. Not any more, he too is moving to Goodpasture
  9. We have played 45 games in three years. I would not call that mediocre. Our team acts as a very responsible group both on and off the field and we are very proud of all of them. Contrary to what you think our greatest loss over the weekend was not losing to Alcoa. Our greatest loss was 24 hours after the game when our 47 year old school president suddenly died. Please give our school and entire program the respect we deserve and allow us to somehow get through this process. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  10. That was a great post. Could not have said it better.
  11. nice move by Martin taking a knee on the one in the last minute. class act.
  12. congrats cougars on the win. cougars take the victory formation on the two with time running out. nice move.
  13. I agree totally. The team that wanted it most won. This might be the best thing that could have happene to GP. The real season starts in a few weeks anyway. We won 21 straight regular season games up until last night. Have not lost a regular season game in 2 years. Somebody just kicked a sleeping dog. Just because we walk on the field teams will not go into the fetal position. Either way, I still believe if they will look within themselves that even the DCA and CPA folks will tell you, the road through this region comes thru us come playoff time. But they will not lie down and give it to us. Again, this might be the best thing that could happen to this team.
  14. It looks the GP players spent most of the week preparing for DCA in the air conditioning too.
