As much as I wish that was true, I won't believe it until I see it. Something has to be done with this team! If we can't get past Johnson County, we have no business going deep into the playoffs. If they don't wake up next week, it'll all be over... I am a big-time Viking fan, but I can't see the win for them next week . I really hope they prove me wrong! Maryville is a TRUE 4A powerhouse. They never have "off" years. They are always loaded and always ready. I mean, they have only lost 1 or 2 games since 2001!!! That is impressive!! They should be ranked in the top 5 in the nation. IF any team beats Maryville, they ARE the best. In Maryville it is tradition to win. It is extremely hard to break tradition...

Mo. West will have no trouble with Greeneville. Greeneville lost ot Sullivan South, and in my opinion South has just been lucky, and is not a great football team (south). Greeneville will be in the game, but Mo. West will remain undefeated.. Mo. West 28 Greeneville 14

It wasn't all the D-B loss. The South loss hurt the most. Mainly because: 1.) we were predicted to win by A LOT 2.) it was homecoming and it was at the castle 3.) we were expected to take back the MLC title 4.) we have a better team than South That night took away most of these things from this team. I hope that THS can build up the power we had when we played Science Hill. I think our loss of momentum hurt us aswell. I just hope and pray the Vikings end the regular season 8-2 and go into the playoffs strong. Stubbs has a lot of work to do...

Well...I hope the Vikings get their act together before Johnson County. Coach Stubbs knows we have a one-dimensional team, that needs major work. There is no way we can go into the playoffs playing like we are. We have got to step it up and play like the CHAMPIONS we are! I do have to say (even though it was just 'east'), that I was proud of the team for pulling off a 19 point win after 2 very disappointing weeks at the stone castle. Tradition lives on!!! GO VIKES!!!!!

I am ready for an upset with D-B. I am sick of hearing D-B this and D-B that. Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with them and if they ever come across a team as good as THS that can hold onto the ball better in the 2nd half, they WILL be beat. I hope Sevier Co. comes home with a win. It's time to upset D-B!

I agree. This friday's game against D-B shouldn't make any difference to the big game against South next week. Didn't South loose a couple players to injury during their D-B game? Keep in mind that this THS team is different from last year. This is an actual football team, who I think will go far. THS 28 South 7

I completely agree with bud. THS kept it close....13-7 toward the beginning of the 3rd quarter, but our turnovers killed us. I have to admit that I wasn't greatly impressed with D-B. They started picking it up in the 3rd/ start of the 4th quarter....but I expected them to be on fire at the beginning, not toward the end of the game. Or were they on fire, and our defensive held them off? I am very disappointed, but I hope the Vikes can bring back their game next week. Don't forget, this season isn't anywhere near over for THS OR D-B! Good luck to all!
