  1. well, The WH line will be in full attendance this Friday as opposed to facing Greenbrier missing two key linemen, who are now back so it will be a veteran line and that will help. WH has faced great backs all year long. Most have been somewhat contained. No one has passed great against WH this year. Ladd is in fact a great DB as is Mash. They are hard to connect against. The WH passing game continues to get work. Who knows what they will do in the air against Polk County. I know that WH wants another shot at Greenbrier and PC this season, and that will take two road wins back to back to achieve. They are motivated, they remain dedicated to the objective. What will happen? Well, I'll be there to see. I want to go back to Greenbrier in week 12, so does the team. So do the fans. Polk County is really a two A? Well, so, White House was 4A for three years after they came under the enrollment requirements for 3A. You didn't hear White House looking for excuses last year based on 4A ranking now did you. No, you didn't. Instead that's a 3A team that went 13-1 in the 4A region. So stink it up, it's the way it works, no extra points for being a smaller program in a larger region sorry. Oops that was stink it up. I think. stink IT UP ALREADY. Sheesh.
  2. why are you calling for a Polk County win over WH, they've never played before.
  3. Depends on if PC contains #1 and #21. And PC has the speed to do that. I'm rooting for PC. They have better attitudes.
  4. honestly, it takes nothing to get some of you going. Yes, it's the same QB, do you ever watch the game a 2nd time? Dustin's knees aren't great. I never said he was the picture of grace, I said he had courage. Friday is going to be big fun. I don't see WH giving up 29 again, but you never know. I'm sure it's something they are working on this week.
  5. No, I'm seriously bragging about Ladd's humility. Is English your first language? Where did I say anything about scoring against DeKalb. He had eight touches, scored four times, came out and let the Freshman get their reps. That's a team guy, and that's Ricky.
  6. YO, SUPER BOWL DREAM, I'M NOT A PLAYER, I CAN BE AS OVERCONFIDENT AS I WANT TO BE, WON'T CHANGE A THING FOR ME, I'LL STILL BE SCREAMING JUST AS LOUDLY IF WE SHOULD FALL BEHIND, IT'S NOT OVERCONDFIDENCE IT'S A BDP thang. You can rest your case, if you have one, at the end of the game, 'kay? It will be a defense game, and that's gonna be good stuff.
  7. the pass game slowly improves, and we have a QB willing to throw blocks for our RB, and he steadily improves and we have the line back where it is meant to be. Besides, we haven't had to throw to win now have we, and pass defense has withstood the barrage. And SC had a good RB. Didn't help them win though did it. I know we didn't have a big fan turnout for Senior Night, lots of people apparently not ready for football weather, well, GET READY, Blue Fans it will get no warmer. And it was a DISGRACE that that pig boy from Station Camp got away with sitting on Ladd's chest punching him in the face, dead in front of the referee. Can we PLEASE have some referees who can see this week, please? Can anyone score yards on WH on a kick return without clipping four or five times in one play? GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE.....
  8. white house should win, Ricky should have another 200 yard game. And probably another pick or two or broken up passes. Haven't seen a back yet that Ladd cannot run down. He's as much fun to watch on defense as on offense. WH defense is awsome right now, special teams has picked it up a notch, and it should be a great game. I can't wait, games at Greenbriar are always such fun because SO MANY people come out for this game. GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE.
  9. when I played basketball, I smoked cigarettes (theatre, what can I tell you we were drama queens), and the coach made me run until I puked every single day because she saw me smoking a cigarette one day. Then one day I had to go into the teachers lounge to see my English teacher and there sat my basketball coach PUFFING HER BRAINS OUT. I told her fairly quickly what I thought about that, and at practice I challenged her to run with me (we would run around the court, up the stairs to the 2nd level, around that 2nd level, down the stairs, across the court, up the other side, around the 2nd level) down and up the team had to make 20 laps, and I usually made 35 laps before hurling. HA. I did not throw up alone that day. And she threw up about 15 laps before I did. Then my mother asked how I lost 25 pounds in the first two weeks of practice and I told her what was going on. I thought she was going to smack that woman into the middle of next week. And I finally quit smoking so I could gain some weight back before dying. I can still take a charge like nobody's business.
  10. Without a doubt, he would have 4000 yards if they counted every yard he ran sideways and backwards to go forwards. He scored on 4 of 8 touches against DeKalb, and he selflessly stood back and watched the freshman Payne brothers run after that instead of begging to run his yards up, and oh boy, if it was about statistics, he could have had 500 yards that night. OOPS. I was talking about Ladd from WH.
  11. Greenbrier will have their hands full.
  12. NO DOUBT. And we all want PC again in the play offs. If we make the play offs. Okay, when we make the play offs.

    Visors

they have to be clear, we had a player who had to switch helmuts last year because of the darker one.
  14. My senior actually mentioned recently he wishes I had held him back in 7th which I should have but IT WASN'T BECAUSE OF FOOTBALL give me a break Older students cause teachers and administrators problems, athletes less problems than others because most programs would unload a difficult student. My senior turns 18 in December. He is not done growing. Most boys aren't done when they are 18. I assume it's because parents think an older more physically mature athlete is attractive to college recruiters. But you better have coaches who have big interest in getting their players recruiters otherwise you are spinning your wheels and wasting your kids time. My 57 cents anyway.
  15. you all have me looking forward with much anticipation to the WH GB game. But it's too early to start squawking abuot that one, gotta get through this week first. Greenbrier did very well against PC.
  16. Could we be a little less scathing please? The DeKalb boys deserve better.
  17. In a football town like White House it's sad to see cheap shots taken at the Heritage team. Which has come a LONG way since the school opened by the way. Both Heritage and White House players come through the same Jr. Pro teams, the only real difference is experience of coaching and history of program. Heritage will continue to improve. Fans should support both teams the WHHS booster raises big money, the community should share the wealth to build both programs in what is a huge football town. Too bad such a big football town is so inefficient at getting their players recruited into Div. I ball, seems like that is also a measure of the quality of a program. Better watch out if that's how they start measuring success in HS football eh?
  18. well thanks to some LOUSY officials at the David Lipscomb scrimmage who didn't flag the clips, we had I believe six go down in that game, finally we are seeing everyone back this week except for Hutchinson and losing Abernathy with the knee was awful. WH had big injury issues this season. If scrimmage officials can't do a better job than that hideous display at Libscomb this summer, maybe we should play less of them to stay healthy. It will be awesome to see Upchurch and Mosley back for Senior Night this Friday.
  19. Bless those DeKalb boys hearts, they fought so hard, that big ole running back was a hoss, and he kept on trying. I wish they had had more fans in the stands. When we come to DeKalb County next year, you better have more people turn out than that, because you can count on WH bring a couple of thousand people with them.
  20. White House wins, but it will be very close, Station Camp is an excellent 1-3 team their record is deceptive. WH will be extremely motivated looking to close out the season with two more wins. WH defense will rock the house on Friday night should be a fun one.
  21. Matt Parker is #8 a Freshman QB. He got injured in an early scrimmage collar bone I believe. I'm glad that seniors got to rest against DeKalb county, the next two games are a lot more important. Sure, Ricky could have had 600 yards, but we have a long way to go, why grandstand when you have the rest of the season ahead of you, and I have always liked the fact that Coach Porter has never run up scores for the sake of running up scores, it was good that he let Ricky have the rest. And the WH players have responded to the way personnel has shaken out this year with a lot more class than the fans have, that's for sure. GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE, GO BLUE. It ain't over 'til it's over, and this season ain't over.
  22. WHHS should win this game. With key player set to return from injury WH should make the play offs, and then it's a new season. WH continues to struggle with it's passing game. The offensive line continues to improve making the running game a big factor. Pass Defense has been huge, everyone talks about Ladd's great ability to run. Also impressive has been his terrific pass defense which was key to PC not being able to stack on points last week. Ladd is a great DB. Go Blue!
  23. they better have a good pass defense.
