Bryan Marshall of Ooltewah and the Tailback from Farragutu will be the horses of the region next year....One thing I don't get is why Marshall never played against Farragut...He is onle talented kid....He is a lot like Travis Stephens in that his is small for the position but plays big,,,,Jeremy Woods will be the QB he is the younger brother of Zack and in all do respect can actually see over the line after a 3 step drop...Arsenio Landsden will be the X factor on the team..He is a taleneyed athlete as well and will be a major deep threat to opposing defenses....Shaun Sanders might just show us all who the better fullback of the 2 Sanders brothers is next season...Sorry Zach!!! The O-line will be solid and beefy and the secondary will be the only question mark the Owls really have to think about this coming season and the kicking game.....Should be a wonderful season though....My predictions... Oak Ridge Farragut/Ooltewah Mcminn/WB/Soddy-Daisy....Oak Ridge is the favorite until proven otherwise...although Ooltewah beat them....thats why 2-5a is the best region in the state....

Livingston Academy is the best footbal team I have seen all year......atleast last nights team was.....I cover football in chattanooga and east Tennessee and Livingston has all the key elements to win a state title with the biggest being heart!!And all their kids play with it...I hated to see the Irish lose,but Livingston is without a doubt poised for a state title....I wish you guys the best and WILSON CATES should be Mr. Football for every class in Tennessee..............If there was a heisman for tssaa to give to one player I would vote for cates!!!!!

Congrats Oak Ridge.....Like Grad said earlier..We are Wildcat fans for now.Bring home that state title to 2-5a..the toughest region in 5A......you guys deserve it for changing the guard and shutting out Riverdale...I can't remeber the last time Riverdale was shutout!!!!!!For that alone you deserve a state title!!!!

That "little one point win " insured the right to play in the semifinals...I'm not trying to dog your team if thats what you think...they were very well coached and played there hearts out......I think it was one of the greatest high school games i have seen in 10 years............

I too believe the same way ducky and I say it will be a rematc between Oak Ridge and Ooltewah which should be a dandy!!!!!!!! ofcourse the winner getting the opportunity to try and hang with Riverdale in which I do believe either team has a very good shot at pullin the upset on the Warriors

We all have much respect for region 3,but Red Bank will go further than you think! Knox Central and Maryville are the best in the East,but Red Bank is gonna be a thorn in someone side this playoff season...Don't overlook them or they will make you pay!

Again you contradict everything you say! Just read your post and find the contradictions! They r all over the place.....And Riverdale can call themselves champions ...They have dominated for over a decade ...4 titles is hard to come by these days with the level of play in high school football and the athletes now...They game has changed and there are a lot more teams now since all those Oak Ridge titles! The Glory years are a thing of the past the present and future so far in football has been Riverdale...We r not counting basketball or baseball or softball or whatever else since this is a FOOTBALL THREAD!...And by the way your contradiction if you haven't figured it out is in the last sentence of your post in which earlier in the post you tear down others to make yourself look better,also in your first post about Ooltewah! So try to not contradict yourself before you post again!

Dear Dad,As an Ooltewah fan myself I find the accusations mad by mcgaman not those of any Ooltewah fan or anyone associated with Ooltewah.....But saying we r a wanna be program and that we will never get there is pretty harsh..How can you say that we play our state championships when we play Oak Ridge by the way if that was the way it is looks like we won the state championship and you guys lost it! However none of those statements are true! It's kinda hard to win a state title when you only have 3 paid coaches on your team..One full time pay and the others r part time pay thanx to our messed up school system here in Hamilton County..We do not have the resources avavilable like the Oak Ridge's and the Riverdales...But making statements like yours doesn't show any sign of a champion period...As for the actual team in Oak Ridge they r the classiest individuals to get to play against...We enjoy our battles bumps and bruises year in and out when it comes to our region.....By the way I didn't know that there was any criteria for a person to talk smack..Seems to me that everyone is entitled to their own opinion...Getting by round 3 or not,people can still express their respective opinions....Thats what this message board had been created for...So make sure you know exactly what your talking about when it comes to even thinking mr mcgaman is an Ooltewah fan...If you would think about it ,it seems that this might be someone closer to home in Knoxville and not any of the Owl supporters cause we have the utmost respect fro Oak Ridge with their tradition and dominance of our region..We have had good battles between each other and the teams respect each other very much! i wasn't trying to discredit LaVergne..But It seems that either Riverdale might have a weakness or some teams are catching up to them!!!

First off I don't have to say that McCallie and Baylor are the best rivalry in Chattanooga.....I know plenty of rivalries that r of the same magnitude..example Soddy and Red Bank.......Ooltewah and Soddy.....Central and Ooltewah..... East Ridge and Notre Dame......South Pittsburg and Marion County is bigger and better than all of them..... Now back to the subject of this thread...Red Bank wins purely on defense,,,granted they have an offense that will score on ya but their defense is by far the best in town!! Red Bank 35 Hixson 20

You should know who I am......I actually talked to you at the game friday night...Think about the signature!!!!!!By the way if the Owls keep playin with that much heart fro the next few weeks...We could be the ones host Riverdale wqho only beat LaVergne 28-20 this season ..So now we know they have a weakness region 2 so whoever it is that plays them...Exploit that weakness and bring the title back to the toughest region in the state!!!!!Hopefully it will be our Owls!

Yeah,without a doubt the best game I have seen all year was the Ooltewah vs Oak Ridge.....The first time I got to see Gulmire and he is the real deal...But my Owls finally played with heart ...down 30-7 in the third and finished off the Wildcats 42-37.......Hats off to OR though being the powerhouse they always are and the classiest group by far!

Grad..you of all people or The greatest owl to ever play Zach Sanders should know this by now..You should know who is gonna do what and what seed they will be..I thought you guys were the guru's!

Notre Dame can compete in 4-4a easily,not saying they would win it,but they could catch the 2.3.or4 spot in playoffs so i don't even want to see that crap.....Now back to best team in Chattown... After ooltewah's win over #2 ranked Oak Ridge....I would put Ooltewah #1 Red bank #2 Notre Dame #3 and McCallie #4 Tyner would be #5
