Heres the thing. Bradford will miss Proudfit. She was a great player who was All-State and one of the best in Class A. But Bradford returns a whole bunch of talent. They also will be playing a pretty talented freshman by the name of Street and a sophomore I think named Combs. Yes they will have to find some girls to step up and give them some depth at times when needed but they have some girls I feel can fill that role. Bradford's starting five will be as good as anyone around!! THey will find the depth. Also physical is their game that won't change.

to my knowledge the game with jackson county this summer was within 10 points. it wasn't a blow out by any means. it was close throughout the course of the game. but like you said summer doesn't matter!!

Better not forget about Bradford. They might be better than they were last year!!

Imagine that no one still gives them any credit. They proved they were one of the top 4 teams in class a and no one still gives them any credit. A few weeks ago everyone said this team or any out west could not play within 20 points of any middle tennessee team and that this team was the worst of the teams at the state tourney. YOU WERE ALL WRONG!! This team played their hearts out an proved they were very talented and capable of winning the whole tournament. Good luck girls and hope to see you back next year with that strong core of underclassmen you have on your roster!!

You girls did an outstanding job this year. You proved to everyone in the state that you could play and beat anyone. You represented west tennessee and district 14a very very well. You also showed that with hard work you can come from nothing 5 wins to 7 wins to 15 wins to 27 wins and one of the best 4 teams in the state of tennessee in class a!!! Be proud and hold your head high. So much for our basketball in west tennessee not being very good!!! You girls did a great job!!!

Congratulations to Bradford for becoming District Champions and Regional Champions. Their 25 wins is the most since the State Championship days. These girls have come a long way!! 5 wins, 7 wins, and 15 wins the last 3 seasons. Keep it going and make it to STATE!!!!!

1st round games are going to be played on thursday night 2/21 at the highewr seeds gym. The semis will be on saturday night 2/23 and the finals on tuesday night 2/26.

CLass A- Danielle Proudfit, Bradford. 20.6 scoring average 5.3 rebounds per game, 3.1 steals per game. Has led her team from the cellar in west tennessee from 3 years ago to a state ranked 19-4 record. Outstanding player with no weaknesses.

Bradford only has 3 seniors-Proudfit, Spain, Crocker. THe bulk of their rotation is underclassmen juniors-Tubbs, Oliver, sophomores-Wallsmith, Arnold, Cunningham, and freshman-Combs & Royster. Bradford also has alot of young talent. GC may win but lets not forget Bradford has not got much respect in Class A this year and they also have a lot to prove. They also haven't lost so far in 2008! It will be a great game!!

Who do you like? The first meeting went to Bradford by 1 in OT @ Gibson County. I think this will be a close game with Bradford winning by 3 or less. Both teams are playing well.

Bradford wins 66-57. They completely shut Perry down. She didn't score to the fourth quarter and only scored 7!! Proudfit 18 & Wallsmith 11 for Bradford!!

In Single A Danielle Proudfit should get a look. She is the best basketball player in single A in west tennessee. Their may be better athletes but not better all around players. She averages about 20 a game and has scored 30+ points about 6 times this year plus she has led her team from the cellar of 14A to a title contender with a 17-4 overall record!

Bradford is undefeated in 2008 and rolling. With Trenton losing at Gleason that has opened the door for Bradford to control their own fate in the district. The game at Bradford should be very exciting and the gym packed. Who does everyone like?

Bradford will be way better than 6th. They return 7 of their top 10 players, plus they will add a Street to the mix as a freshman. Look for them to be in the mix again just like this year.

Bradford just demoralized West Carroll, 84-50. THey are beginning to get going!!

Bradford shot the ball poorly and their best player in proudfit barely scored (6 Pts)!!!

Here is my opinion, I think they might have been over-rated. They have Proudfit who is a really good player but after that the scoring drops off tremendously. Other than her their play seems very inconsistent and that includes their shooting. They might finish in the middle of their district from what I have seen so far this year.

I know they only have 2 losses but are they for real or just a pretender? They lost games they should have won against USJ and Gleason. What is everyone else's opinion about them??
