What is the appeal?

He didn't even play until the 8th grade--didn't get much playing time then--we loved him anyway. He only recently blossomed as a football player.

He has gotten quite a bit of playing time--for a freshman. Maybe they are trying not to overburden him or freak him out-he still has lots to learn-the game is much different in high school. He is thriving and growing with the playing time he is getting. Maybe as the season goes on--you'll see more of him. The coaches definately know what they've got--he's not being overlooked.

When I first heard of this tragedy I called my daughter to see if she knew him. Her response was-- character, personality and "hot". No too many kids get all three! What a true loss for the community!
