Yeah, the trophy is a bronzed pacifier. Just to let all you WH fans that are claiming the officials were homecooking for ND, two of you in particular, have even implied that that is how they got to 13-0. For your info, ND was one of the most penalized teams in the Chattanooga area. You fans talk about BDP, BDP, born from adversity and it shows up most when things are not going your way. BDP must stand for "Blame D### Penalties". Charlie Murphy is glad to see that the WH players are satisfird with only getting beat by one point. You know what they call you when you almost win, a loser. But hey put that "Moral VIctory" plaque in the trophy case. Charlie has been to alot of football games, and has actually seen WH play twice this season and I have to say WH players taunted, late hit,etc, more than any other team I have seen this year. Taunting, shoving after the whistle, late hits. I saw more of that crap from WH players in 2 games than I saw from all other teams combined this year. And from the way some of you WH fans act like you are entitled to something, I can see where the attitude comes from.

You did get one thing right at the end of your post, it is obvious that you do know "a little" about the game. Obvoiusly very little. There is holding on every play in football, but when it occurs near the play, or is blatantly obvious it will be called. Stop whining, get a tissue out of your purse, and get over it.

Charlie Murphy thinks wh1971 needs some Vagisil. Apparently he only sees the bad calls against WH. What about on the big hit on the 2nd half kickoff when the WH player stood over the ND player after laying him out, the taunting was obvoius from anywhere. NO flag. That would have pushed WH back 15 yards and you may have had to settle for another FG. Guess you didn't noticed that. In one breath you are praising Ladd as the next Barry Sanders or something, and then saying ND's defense is just good. How many yards did Ladd have?

Charlie Murphy is not ridiculing the high school, it is the certain fans that act like WH is soooo diiferent because they have pride. Maybe there really wasn't alot of pride during those 0-10 seasons, because if there was, the WH fans wouldn't act like it was this awesome new thing that they just discovered. When Charlie Murphy was in school pride didn't have to be discussed, it was just understood to be there. Maybe I have been to tough on the WH folk, I holds any team in high regard that starts off 0-3 and then makes the 1/4s. Dandy, you allright in Charlie's book. Good Luck WH.

Someone get me a tissue. Everyone has rich tradition, get over yourselves. How does White House Heritage fit into that tradition. Could someone explain why there are two schools less than 2 miles apart? Is one schhol county and one school city? This topic has been touched on a few times on this board, could someone please fill in the blanks, preferrably a Greenbrier fan, so we can get the straight story without all the "rich tradition" and "pheonix rising from the fire" crap, I've gone through a whole box of Kleenex reading the story of BDP. To listen to the WH fans, we should put their struggle to achieve "traditional success" up there with the civil rights movement and the trail of tears. Someone gives us the story about WH and WH Heritage. For all of those waiting for my pick, tune in again this afternoon.

Charlie is not angry, He knows it is about the kids, but doesn't care if the truth hurts the loyal fans. The WH fans and players know that they would be 2-8 without Ladd. Just read there posts. Everytime someone ask why they were 5-5, the first thing out of there mouth is "Ladd missed the first 3 games with an injury". Charlie Murphy gets tired of hearing WH fans, "You other teams may not have heard of HEART, but we have it, and we also have PRIDE, bet you never heard of that either" BDP is sooooo special. IF, as stated on the WH website, BDP was born from adversity and failure, and BDP is most evident when things are going bad, you better drive a truck to ND, because you are going to have a load to haul back home after the game.

Mr Football is a joke, Devin Carthorne from Notre Dame had the same yardage as Ricky Ladd, and was on a 10-0 team. ANd he played every game.

Wow, you know some football jargon, we get it. I didn't not claim to know what formation WH will line up in, what blocking scheme they will use, or even if if they will wear their helmets. But no matter what formation, what scheme, or what day of the week, Ladd will get the ball atleast 80% of the time. You know it, I know it, the coach knows it. And for the idiot that said WH has some plays that they haven't used yet, what a joke. What, have they been saving them for week 13.They may have a new formation, but guess who's getting the ball. If I were the coach I would give it to Ladd too, he is really good, fastest high school back I have seen. The problem is WH can't throw, at all. Oh yeah, just to keep up with letsgodevils, "wishbone, shotgun, hail mary, wweakside backer, tackle eligible"

From turf master "ND has not played a 2 tight end, 3 back offense with alot of variations of it", Turf, was this meant to say ND has not faced a 2 tight end, 3 back offense with alot of variations? If so, are you kidding? The only variation to WH's offense is whether Ladd runs left or right. ND fans, players, whoever reads this, WH can line up in 7 blue million formations, but they are going to hand it to Ladd 95% of the time. He is a good runner, quick but small, doesn't take much to get him down, he can be brought down with one hand, just getting a hand on him can be a problem. He is FAST, he could outrun Carthorne, backwards. Carthorne is a stronger runner and much better on Defense. Ladd hits like Deion Sanders.

On defense they have two, big, SLOW tackles, they can go hard for about half of warm ups, then they are spent. They CANNOT throw, They have Ricky Ladd, and a good kicker, thats it. ND's kicking game is as good. Stop Ladd and you stop WH. There is no WH fan that can dispute that.

To beat ND you will have to have a balanced offense, therefore WH will not beat ND. Ricky Ladd has 2200 all purpose yards? I'll bet not much of that is recieving. ND's kicking is as good if not better than WH. Notre Dame has a 1500 yard rusher, WH has No passing game, none. Pearl Cohn was in the red zone three times? SO what, how many points do you get for that. The same as you get for crossing the fifty. White House's luck runs out. You can't ride Ricky Ladd forever. And also, Carthorne for ND had as many yards rushing as Ladd and he was on a 10-0 team, yet Ladd is up for Mr Football, and Cartorne isn't, WHAT A JOKE.
