Loved the 80's show, saw it in Chattanooga!! Its my opinion but I think the bass drummers could play better if their basses weren't hanging down to their knees. But otherwise great job with the program!!
I went to the USSBA southern states championships, and have to say Walker Valley and Lavergne had the best drumlines there!! Walker Valley is a big line, marching 7 snares, 4 tenors, 7 basses, and 5 cymbals.
Well I went to JSU band day a couple of years ago when they played UNA, and to me JSU was very classy and friendly to us all day. They also blew UNA out of the stadium with a LOT of intensity and showmanship, sorry but it's the truth. JSU is more than "ok".
Its funny how these people can come on here saying they never have nor never will go to see the band at the game, but yet their reading the band forum!?! Anyways, I have been going to Walker Valley games the past few years just to see the band.
This coming from someone who probably is the waterboy or stands on the sidelines? If it stinks take bass out of your name, that is a BAND instrument ya know!!
