Who do you coach for and how long have you coached? What system do you run?

Gback did handle Oneida, but what you saw is an Oneida team that has had 6 head coaches in the last 11 years. No style or system has been in place for longer than 3 years at a time. That would certainly make some difference in whether Oneida looks like old boots or new boots.

The refs did not cause WGHS to fumble the kickoff on the 20yd line, nor did they cause the other 3 fumbles. Free blocking zone or not you can NOT chop block, yes I know the rules too. A Chop Block is a completely different situation. Penalty for a chop block is 15 yards. You are wrong, most of the kids play at 13-14yrs old as 8th graders and turn 15 after season. The occasional player has been 15 in season but it is not often.

The guy must not know much about Oneida's program, they have never been the dodging type. If Scott were to win it would hardly damage the program. Being the best team in the county, that is pretty much all that matters to a lot of the Scott faithful. If they want to say they are the best team in the county go for it. Oneida will be in the playoffs while they walk around town and tell everyone that Scott could beat Oneida, Oneida is used to it as it's been going on for years.

Just talked to someone today that verified that the Oneida/Smith County scrimmage has been changed to an AC/Smith County scrimmage.

From what I understand the Oneida/Smith County spring scrimmage has been changed to an AC/Smith County spring scrimmage. Any details on this to back it up as 100% true?

Really, a joke program? Oneida had a great program before Coach Lambert got there and will have a great program after he leaves. Oneida went through a few years where discipline lacked and the kids did not play with the same desire that people were used to seeing, and to be honest the talent wasn't what it was either. Coach Lambert brought back some of the discipline that was put into the program WELL before he got there. He did a great job and will be missed. How many gold balls does AC have? Been to the semi's much? AC is a great program, I am not knocking them at all, but to get on here and say Oneida is a joke program shows some real ignorance. That's one of the worst things about the internet, anyone can get on and post.

If I were you I would find a new source because that one just lied to you.

Oneida also only got 20 or so plays on offense with the 1's. Was Oneida dominate, no, when you go a series and set down for 10-15 minutes it is tough to get into any kind of groove. Defensively, no one went anywhere on the Indians. Don't worry, they will be in fine shape when it counts.

I was in the locker room after that game, it was trashed, the note that was left was faxed to the principal and AD. Also, the food court was hammered hard and left a mess. As for the SOR chant, Oneida used to have a lot of pride in it's program and fans got rowdy, that make for a dang good atmosphere, I like going to places that have community pride in their athletics, could be why Midway was risen up in the last few years. Support goes a long ways, kids notice if people are proud of them and the job they do. No predictions other than I think this will be a good hard hitting gam.

Well, then you should have stated single A, because your post says the last game I played in. Since we were on the same team, I played 1993-1996, maybe you should come and reintroduce yourself to me.

So the last game you played in was the 1992 state championship game, but you played 2 more years? Also, you played in seasons from 1990-1994 - 1990 - 1991 - 1992 - 1993 - 1994, nice job of playing 5 years of high school football. Did you get beat out by someone your senior I and senior II years?

Yeah, and they all quit, that is the final word, they quit. Doesn't matter how good they are they quit. I don't remember any of these kids making any plays when they had oppurtunities that is how you get and keep playing time, you earn it by making something happen. I didn't even know the Blevins kid ever set foot on a football field at Oneida. They busted their butts for ages? Since when is two years, being on the team as freshmen and sophmores is ages? You make it sound like they are 7th year seniors that have dominated and were never played, they were sophmores that didn't make good on chances that were given.

Let's see Chas played for 2 years and got quite a few oppurtunities last year to make plays he didn't do anything but drop balls. Darby was a starter, he was their starting center and he QUIT, oh yeah and Chas QUIT, I think Cody Lowe QUIT, Crowley, QUIT, and Eric Blevins, he has never even set foot on a football field. That attitude right there defines this junior class, all talk and no go. They should not be given a chance next year because they should not be allowed to come out. They left thier team hanging when they coud've been contributing. Leftbehind, I take it you are a junior. I take it that way because you are left behind because like the rest of them you probably quit too.

When did this turn into a basketball thread? I wouldn't pay much attention to Skipy18, he's probably one of the Juniors at OHS that had to quit because they weren't tough enough to handle high school ball.

Who cares? He is not out there, he needs not be discussed. There are athletes and monsters walking the halls of every school that will not play. That is the way it ges, talking about who should be playing and what they could do means crap, who is playing and what are they doing and not doing is what needs to be worried about.
