SPORTZTER, why post when all you are doing is being negative and bringing both teams down? Like always, anything can happen in March. Also, people need to think about the talented White County team Shelbyville will play before anyone worries about Lawrence County or Blackman 'touching' Shelbyville. I'm glad you seem to support our guys basketball team; they are a great team with a great coach, but I would like to know what our girls basketball team, also a great team, has ever done to you? But anyways, the turnout of this game is NOT beside the point...It is tournament time, and ANYONE can get beat. GOOD LUCK LADY CATS!!! Don't let anyone bring ya down! chs4life, this thread was started as a positive one, there is no reason to bring negative comments into it, especially since you aren't a Lawrence County fan. There is already a thread called District Disaster, so why not post in it? To all my Lady Cats, Keep ya heads up and I'll be cheerin 4 ya! There are a lot of teams that would have loved to be guaranteed one game to play in region tournament!

After last night, there has been a lot of negative comments about the Lawrence County Lady Cats basketball program. One loss and they are a district disaster? These ladies are guaranteed at least two more games, two fresh starts to advance in the postseason. So, all I'm askin is that all Lawrence County fans keep it positive...these girls aren't out of it. They need all the support we can give them, they deserve for their fans to be behind them 110%! So, all that said, Good luck to the Lady Cats as they travel to Coffee County to take on the Lady Lions from Columbia, and in the remainder of the postseason! macintosh....one dominant player, as you said, didn't get Lawrence County a season district championship. it took other guys steppin up and playin big. the votes are in, but there were definitely players from lawrence county overlooked. The rematch with Page on Thursday will be the senior night for the Lawrence County senior athletes. These athletes (girls bball, boys bball, and cheerleaders) have put in four years of hard work, dedication, and time into making Lawrence County into my opinion of the best basketball atmosphere in the state. They've got one last season game in Ralph Benson Memorial Gymnasium...let's make it a good one! Hopefully, the students will be there in full force, and the fans will be louder than ever as we get fired up for tourney time. Good luck to all my Wildcats and Lady Cats!!!
