  1. Jordie ..... You make us all proud!!! Think all I ever did for you was cost you a game on a bad call:^( I remember working with your GrandMother and how she would brag on you every chance she got. When I finally saw you on the court at 8-9 I knew she was not just seeing you through Granny eyes. Have a Great senior year and maybe this year I can see more games than last. Old Blind Ref!!! kw
  2. Proud to be able to say I know this young lady. What a wonderful accomplishment. There have been more than a few good players come through that school so to set this record is special. Hard work and persistence do pay off in Basketball as well as life. That Ms. Basketball has a nice ring to it!! With all the references to the Flash group it sure does bring back good memories. That was a special group of girls and parents. Just good people to be around. So happy for you Lauren and family!!! kw
  3. What happened to Baxter (Katie)? Is she hurt? kw
  4. A class act from the word go!!! She will be missed not only by Page, but by Basketball also!!! They don't make people any better than this Wonderful Lady!!! AS ALWAYS, HOOPS TO YA!!!! kw
  5. What an HONOR!! What a FAMILY!!! What a WONDERFUL YOUNG LADY!!!! The A-Train just keeps on moving up the track! HOOPS TO YA!!!!! kw
  6. All I can say is that I have lost plenty of them and the amazing thing is the girls showed up at next practice with a forgiving heart!!! God bless them!!! HOOPS TO YA!!!! kw
  7. Maybe they were trying to be funny? After all, it is L.C.H.S that is at the disadvantage here. They have no short road trips in district unless you count Columbia. I have looked and as long as we are a AAA school, I don't see a better fit as far as logistics. So, unless they are doing the tongue in cheek thing, it's time for MapQuest /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> HOOPS TO YA!!!! kw
  8. They both have games before this match and they both should be taking it one at a time. If they do this, then at the end of the season we will be talking about a match between these two that will really mean something. HOOPS TO YA!!!! kw
  9. I cannot find any on which to disagree with your picks. And man oh man do I hope you are right /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Friday will tell a whole lot about the character and personality of two of your top picks. Hoops To Ya!!!
  10. Sure would like to hear something from Lawrence County? Understand they won their games, but I would like to hear who did what and how many people saw significant time etc... HOOPS TO YA!!! kw
  11. Congrats to a wonderful young lady and a heck of a competitor. It will be a joy to be able to continue to see her grow. And congrats to her wonderful family as well!!! kw
  12. My post from March 16th. What it means is this: (1) That Girls basketball in Tennessee will now start to look more like Alabama. We were better because we worked harder and longer. Just like everything else these days we want to not reward hard work and effort because it might make someone feel bad about themselves etc... (2) That It's time for schools that give a darn about their student athletes chances at the next level to stand up and demand that the T$$AA get out of their lives. (3)That we should all take a lot of video next year so in years to come we can remember the way it was in the good ole days. Of course, if the T$$AA enforces this rule like they do all their other so called rules, not much will change and we can all just forget that the T$$AA existed in the first place. They most certainly need to go the way of the Dinosaurs. WELL, Til Next Year, HOOPS TO YA!!!! kw
  13. Don't know anything happened. just heard it was open, but again, I do not know this for sure. kw
  14. I am not saying he went to Hampshire as I have no idea. I was asking a question. I don't know if the hampshire job was still open or if it was already filled. Need info from someone that knows. I was hoping coach Woods would take that position. Anyone??? kw
  15. Hampshire??? It will be interesting to see. He was with the Cully team at the 2nd Shelbyville camp. kw
