This game went just like most people expected. Penalties continue to plague the Dogs though... Maybe next year, some more messages can be left on the Hampton coaches' answering machine to fire the Dogs up even more...

this sounds like the stuff yall were saying last year. Don't get me wrong , we need to play better up front and get some kinda offense going but we are WAAAY better than our record. I dare say Hampton or anybody else in our region would have a better record than us against the 2 teams we've played. Johnson County couldn't carry G-P's jock strap and you know it. Name the score you are crazy!! I'll remember you said that... GP beat Oneida 7-6, and you are saying Johnson Co. can't hold GP's jockstrap? lol, ok...

I don't know what Johnson County has this year. No one seems to have any information on them. The game was very close last year. Hampton will be much improved, and I can't see Johnson County being better with the losses of Phipps, Prudhomme, Bellamy, and that RB. I think Hampton will win this one...

The Dawgs looked very impressive against Watauga. They didn't go full 11-on-11, but I thought Hampton pretty much had their way with them. In the 7-on-7's, Hampton broke about 6 or 7 TD runs, and I can only remember Watauga having 1 TD run. They just couldn't move the ball on Hampton's front 7. TJ Lyons seemed like he was in the backfield every play. Watauga's coach was even congratulating him at one point. Taylor broke some long runs and I don't think anybody can stop Edwards from gaining at least 5 yards. He's huge and always falls forward. Price looked very good at RB too. Impressive showing...

Hampton has those three and a transfer from avery co. they will be hard to beat this year Well, I was referring to Clark as one of the 3, but Hampton's whole starting 5 is dirty...

I was at the scrimmage Friday, and honestly, it looks like Hampton is just toying with these teams. Lunce seems to be working on that spread. If Hampton wanted to score, they would line up in that I, and run it down these teams throats. But there isn't any need for that. What would be the point? This is a time to work on your weaknesses. There were a few hitches, but that is to be expected when you are running the 2 QBs and a new offense. This is the most depth the Dawgs have had in a long time. They are probably not as good as the 05-07 teams in the first 11 players, but they have more quality depth. This team could do big things...

I haven't been able to watch the Dogs yet, but I hear they have murdered (literally) everybody they've played. I'm hoping to watch their scrimmage at Hampton today...

Have you heard what Unicoi, East, and Johnson Co. will have next year? I thought someone said that East has like 20 seniors returning but I ain't sure. I know HV will have the RB back and he should be the best RB in the county. And I'm glad to see Ward made it out for football. The best athlete in the school needs to play at least 2 sports...
