  1. Link to article on McCallie. Still working that Atlanta pipeline. Chattanooga Times Free Press
  2. That's funny. Clarksville also outshot CSAS 35 to 17 from the foul line.
  3. Clarksville shot 35 free throws and the Smith Bros got Lebron James type of respect with the calls. The horrible charge call on Lenoir in the 3rd would have pulled CSAS within one but that call negated the basket. It was all downhill from there. The refs totally dictated the game.
  4. If Howard gets up, they are an extremely difficult team to come back on. They don't turn the ball over and make free throws. They can play fast or a half-court game. I think too many people just think that Howard depends on their athleticism to win games. They are very physical and a very smart basketball team. If anyone can walk into a hostile environment like LA and win, it's Howard. Howard wins 70 65.
  5. Tyner. Won't even be close.
  6. It is awfully quiet on here. I guess the Bulldogs thought their only chance to get to the Boro was through the girls, and we saw how that turned out. Does no one think RBS has a chance? Has a team ever come to Chattanooga and won?
  7. Friendship is a big team with 6'7 and 6'5 inside. I think they will prove to be a very formidable opponent for Grace. It will be a very hostile environment. However, I don't think Friendship can score enough to keep up with Grace. I think people in Chattanooga will be surprised when Grace gets a run for their money.
  8. Who would have expected this from these young Patriots!? First Region championship in school history and a chance to host sub-state. The Patriots now sit at 25-7, and are 3-1 against Grace this year. Keep up the hard work!
  9. Red Boiling Springs will visit 3rd Street Monday at 7:00 for a sub-state battle. Who wins... Chattanooga Arts & Sciences or RBS?
  10. Friendship did win at CSAS earlier in the year, but as is the case for most teams CSAS is MUCH improved. CSAS played very poorly that game and from all indications FCS played one of their best games. Good luck against Grace. They are very good and a a senior heavy team with some great scorers.
  11. How did RBS beat Clay? Did Clay just lay an egg or does RBS have some shooters that can attack the 1-3-1?
  12. Games played @ CSAS Tuesday 6:00 CSAS vs. Marion 7:30 South Pittsburg vs. Grace Who wins and why?
  13. CSAS clinched the 5-A regular season title with a 61-60 win over Grace. This puts the Patriot's district win streak at 59 that has extended over the last 5 years(6-A and 5-A). They will go for number 60 as they host Silverdale Friday for Senior Night.
  14. Grace usually wins the regular season match-ups and then CSAS gets them when it counts. CSAS was eliminated by Temple last year, not Grace. CSAS has also defeated Ridgeland this year, but hasn't played Tyner yet.
  15. So Grace has Herman, Church, and Wilson as their top scorers, and South Pitt has Robinson, Finnell, and Chubb. What do these teams have past these guys? Is depth an issue for South Pitt again?
  16. When a school has been found guilty and is continually suspected of cheating by schools in their community and around the state, everything they do is a mountain.
  17. I just think I would be real careful about throwing out someone's name, especially a coach with his reputation. There is no denying that the kids at Temple have gotten it done on the court. I don't think anyone would question that. What has Tay made up?
  18. Taydizzle is Dragoo!? I don't think that sounds like him. Anyways, how could he have time to get on here. He must use all of his spare time trying to figure out how to beat Temple. By the way... Just because whoever Taydizzle is struck a chord with the recruiting jokes, I don't think I would be calling people's name out on here. Especially someone you don't know personally or know nothing about. I'm glad I got on here for the first time in a while because calling people out by name is not why people get on these boards. So big bad daddy of 4 you owe someone an apology. Fact is Temple did recruit, and they did get caught. I'm afraid that will follow them for a long time, like it or not.
  19. Who gets to the region, and then what happens from there?
  20. They are 14-5 right now and have been beating people pretty bad lately. They should win the region. They lost to Grace at the beginning of the year when they were missing a couple players, but recently beat Grace by 20+. CSAS should host and Grace will travel.
  21. A key will be the tempo of the game. If CSAS can press and make it a full court up and down game...it won't be close. If it is a half court game things might get interesting.
  22. Was this game a likely preview of the region finals? These two teams will likely have a lot of trouble with either Grace or CSAS. Has either of them ever come to Chattanooga and won a sub-state game?
  23. CSAS has not been playing well of late. Who wins this region matchup?
