don't know the exact final, but Middleton was up by 20+ with less than a minute left. Middleton played one its best games tonight, hopefully the start of a late season roll. They will have to continue to step up their game to compete with UC/LC/Humbolt.

Middleton by 16, 75 to 59. Middleton was missing their starting center and Humbolt was as well. Up tempo game that came down to conditioning. Al Mckinnie had 30 plus and the Sain kid from Humbolt dominated in the paint. Good early season win against one of the "best teams" from the "strongest" district.

Middleton has 3 starters returning. Al Mckinnie 6'4" forward, Jamie Cheirs 6'"3 small forward, and Tabius Murden 6' point guard(Marq's little brother), playing post will be Brandon Mckinnie(Jamicheal's "little brother"), the other postion I'm not sure. We will be competive as always and if the team comes together they will have a chance to make a deep run come playoff time. According to the post from the northern district we probably don't have a shot at advancing past sub-state, but barring a last second shot we probably would have won the state last year. It will be an interesting season and i am looking forward to the hall of fame game against Humbolt on the 15th.

Where is bigster at. All the smack that him and the LC fans have been talking? I'm a M-town fan to the core, but sometimes a $5 mouth can overload a nickel toe I think that the only reason that i'm glad Lc lost is so we won't have to hear the tired old crap about our gym is small, the refs cheated us, sun was in my eyes, etc. from LC. When and if you guys when 3 in the boro, then talk smack.

To all the doubters. Middleton came to play when it mattered. A lot of talk from LC and others about how tough Middle College is. Give them credit, they are a talented, athletic team, but it is hard to come to our house and get a W. Looking forward to the region where a rematch is very likely. Just remember defending and three time state champs.

alright people middleton is not expected to beat every team everyone has bad nights but don't forget that we still are good...everyone brags about winning so don't hate that, we're VERY good but there are a lot of teams that are just as good, although we can beat them as ya'll have seen in the past if we get focused...don't down us because you aren't necessarily rooting for us we're a good team give credit where credit is due...im giving it to your teams MTOWN #1

I'm sure that several teams in west tn can give either of these teams all they want. If my memory serves me correctly the two finalist in A last year where from west tn.
