W H , I think coach Rankin is also lucky to come to such a small town that has sooooooo much talent ! His discipline techniques are remarkable , his coaching is OUTSTANDING ! Aluminum City (ALCOA) has much respect for him and proud to have him . Thx Coach Rankin for all that you do for ALCOA kids ! Alcoa is a coach's dream , all you gotta do is coach them !

W S has a very atheletic bunch of kids , much like ALCOA . No way could it be that close . Remember ALCOA got stronger & better as the season moved on too ! Everyone all ways talk about how much better these teams got later in the season , do you guys think ALCOA got worse instead of getting better too ................PLEASE ! Give ALCOA the credit & respect that they deserve , now come on , get it right ! Frankly , I'm sick of people always comparing ALCOA (500 + students) with Murvulle ( what , nearly 2000 students ?!) You people need to give up this recruiting thing ! Enough already !!!! I gave all of you a brief history of Alcoa atheletes all the way back to the sixties . You know what's so funny all year long our coaches try to find people to play us and/or scrimmage us , but none will , why is that ? We are a very small town with three schools 1 elementary , 1 middle & 1 high school . Everyone in this little town has to come to Alcoa's 3 schoos , if they go to other schools , they must pay tuition . Football is about all we have to look forward to around here . We're not a big county or inner city school district like most of you guys !. Get over it !!!!!!!!!!

I spoke with Jeron and he's allright ! He knows that he & T Rob were snubbed in the Mr. Football awards , he is still humble . He is a christian young man , as well as a good student and an abundance of talent ! He dedicated one of the games to the young man who died on the field @ West , too. There are sooo many other things thyat he has done . A phenomenal young man !!! Jeron is our Mr. Football and he will prove that on Friday . He is very interested in Kentucky and went to the game on saturday . He had a chance to talk to Randall and hopefully Randall will be influential in him getting to Kentucky . It would be great to cheer for( Kentucky/Alcoa ) . Evidently , Tenn is not interested in him , everyone seems to always talk about his size , not his strength & accomplishments . He is probably the size of Dennis Rogan & Anthony Anderson , who are both from Knoxville and were signed by Tenn . He is more talented and stronger than both those guys , so what is Tenn. waiting on ??????? Political ?????......probably

Anyone in his/her right mind knows that Jeron Toney of ALCOA is THE BEST BACK " in any class in Tn . That "Mr. Football " awards is a farce . I think those coaches etc. or whomever, voting hated to give it to Alcoa again . In 2005 , Dustin Linsey of ALCOA was shafted too . These two guys have broken all kinds of records ! It's all because they are from ALCOA and I know it . ................" PLAYER HATERS "

DAWG ,you and all these other folks need to lose this thing about ALCOA recruiting ! I have lived in Alcoa all my life (60 years ) and it is a very small town and everyone in this town has to go to school there . If they go to Maryville or other schools , they must pay tuition . You can't accept the fact that this much talent can come out of one small town .Most students that pay tuition & come here don't even play sports ! They come for the excellent academic program that ALCOA has . You guys need to speak what you know . You don't have a clue about ALCOA ! Before integration of schools in the 60's , the Af-Amer school was a few blocks away from Alcoa High School , which was then all white . I am giving you a little Histoy here ! When the two schools merged , both always had tremendous atheletes . Putting the two together created a "Powerhouse " & has been that way every since . Don't talk to me about recruiting , when you don't know our History ! A town with only one school , everyone in that town has to go to the same school . Be very careful about what you say until you get facts ! We have 1 Elementary school,1 Middle school & 1 high school . This town has always had the Aluminum,Co. of America here , which is where almost everyone works . The children have no other schools to attend but ALCOA ! This is the way it's always been ! Do some research on Alcoa , if you will ,you just might learn something !!!!!!!!

Great post HVwarriors ! You show much class . What was classless was the way (and I saw the video of A E & Betsy) , the way the Betsy players went to the 50 yr. line and taunted A E was classless , but A E just got a taste of their own medicine ! They tried to do that to the ALCOA kids , but they were too disciplined to listen to that crap ! Betsy could not make ALCOA loose focus like A E did and this , I think cost A E the game , they competely lost momentum. They are a much better team that Betsy and should have beat them ! Their lack of discipline hurt them .

You folks keep saying how much better Milan is this year ! ALCOA is a much better team this year than last year . ALCOA has so much depth and they are a complete team , no "Big I's" & little "U's" . They are a much better disciplined team and a very well coachedtea ! Let's get it on !!!!!! I want to see Milan stop the mighty TORNAOES !!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT !

If you don't like the noise , STAY HOME !!!!!Football games are places where you support the kids and get LOUD . The coaches & boys loved it and that's all that matters . Dustin Lindsey has broken numerous records in this state and has been shafted 2 years in a row ! He is the kind of kid who is a team player and will be fine. We know ity's all political. When you put up stats like he has there is no way you should not be honored with an award such as this. He is just a real nice young man with lots of character . He has perfect sportsmanlike conduct and he will make it it when some of the others won't! All of y7ou know in your heart of hearts that he should've won it! This Boo Weathers doesn't impress me at all and who has recruited him , he's not even ranked, I am not suprised though , if we put a person in the white House like G. W. , we'll do almost anything in theses United States! Dustin knows what he is about and he will prove himself . Where are all the nominees when the championship games began this weekend? Dustin will be playing for another ring. "YOU GO DUCK"!!!!
