Why is it that we are debating this scrimmage? I'm happy Gleason beat them, but the fact is Lake Co. beat us in a game that counts!!! Season is over, why argue about this?

It will be a close, physical game, but I think Greenfield gets the victory.

As far as I'm concerned, Saturday night was Lake Co.'s state championship. They celebrated like they had won it all. The whole crowd emptied onto the court just like they had won the championship. They did win a hard fought game, but I don't see them winning another game. People keep bringing up the game from 10 years ago. If I remember correctly things played out the same way. Upset Gleason, then not even show up for the championship or substate.

I can respect that comment...I'd just like to make one change...Gleason pulls away late with the win!!

And just how many times have you seen Gleason play this year???

I agree with you 100%. And if Gleason plays Friday night the way they did last night, UC will beat them. It's tournament time now...you have to have your best game every night.

Trust me, no one has forgotten about the 1996 season when Lake Co. surprised everyone. But I think things are a little different this time around. Lake Co. isn't the team they were then. They may be able to put up a fight, but I really don't see this being a close game. I say Gleason by 25.

Not all Gleason fans think we'll go to state and blow out all the competition. I do think we can go there and make some noise, but we know we will have some challenges...Jackson Co. being the biggest. And we, like you, don't expect to get there and lose.

Exactly, I couldn't agree more. We from Gleason know that polls don't mean a thing. It's just something to get people talking. I know JC is a great team that could beat Gleason should we meet at state. I haven't seen anyone from Gleason on here guaranteeing a win over JC - some are just confident that we possibly could.
