  1. Can't disagree with you on that. These two schools may not be the top teams in region or district play, but they do have a pretty bitter rivalry that's been lasting for many years. Friday night is No exception. Lack luster or not, the Rebel-Irish rivalry shall continue
  2. This really is a major hit to the fighting Rebel ball club. Bagwell was a great asset to this team, so is Hill. Hopefully SC will keep the fight alive and play friday night for their fallin teammates. Good luck Rebs, see you in Houston Co. this week
  3. Very rhetorical question if you ask me. Humility, that's what Stewart County has been and still are taking. They've learned alot, through all these rough times. They aren't a steady, powerful team..but they DO know that much. So, you can stop saying stupid stuff like that now. I agree with you on this. The Rebel squad is moving foward, more progressive, and more positive. Good coach, decent team, better season.
  4. I agree in that I feel Richland is due for a breakout game..but I dont think I'll go as far to use the Rebels for the credit in that. This should be a close game, good for the region, interesting to see. Stewart County - 16 Richland - 14
  5. Ill admit SC lost it for themselves. They need a direct turnaround approach if they want to win this one. If they can limit their screw ups and keep the aggression going, then it'll be a good game. Otherwise, be lookin for loss #2.
  6. Cocky or not, Camden takes this one without a doubt. After Friday night's dismay of a performance from the Rebel squad, it isnt going to just 'get better'. Yall gave up. Pretty much after halftime it was over. SC came out fightin in the first 2 quarters, but left their gameplay in the locker room. The Rebs used momentum and attack in the first part of the game, but once they made a couple mistakes it seemed as if they put their heads down, allowing LC to make the game theirs. Camden will show no less mercy, so I sure hope yall refill your tanks for another friday night showdown.
  7. no contest here. waverly puts this one away early Tigers - 32 Irish - 6
  8. Good luck SC. Good defense is definitely the showcase in big Wins, followed by your offensive attack. Lewis Co. comes out well prepared every game, which makes me hope yall lay it all out tonight.
  9. Yeah, I think i'll agree on that. Before Tabor replaced Swafford I thought the team was built..had some big guys, alot of talent, but not getting the wins they should have. They played with heart, I know that's a cliche' statement..but they did. They always came out fightin'. I hope this re-building team and staff can do the same, along with the excess of some W's on the stat sheets.
  10. Im lovin the excitement. Though I feel a little less optimistic about an SC victory, it sounds like it'll be a good game..at least I hope. Go Rebs, make us proud.
  11. rebelman I'll be at the game. Friday night Lights my friend, I have to support the Rebs. I give alot of credit to the football program in Lewis County, but in the same respect I have my hat tipped to a rebuilding SC club
  12. In just two nights I can finally watch the game instead of talking about it. It'll be huge for SCHS IF they can pull off an upset, but it is Doubtful. Defense is key, then attack with that offense which is backed with depth and potential... So maybe your roster has more stored talent than used..this would be a perfect time to shine. Well, good luck anyways
  13. Sorry bud, not much of a momentum lift from a loss..no matter how you look at it. They could play their best game, true, but you're not gaining too much.. Some respect, not much, but some.
  14. alright. look at the stats; they are decent in the pass game, but more fervent in the run. mixin' it up helps, esp. since they arent a huge threat. I'm pretty dang sure that Everyone realizes the Rebel's odds this week..so therefore nobody needs slapped, check yourself though. LCHS is a tough club, they just have to take care of business in Dover this Friday. I continue to wish them luck on their rough stretch of games
  15. Fairly so. I mean come on, 'make them look silly'...is that representing a Richland punchline?
  16. SC needs to be focused, then utilize that momentum. Make yourself a contention team..that should turn a few more heads. Just keep the ball rollin' no matter what.
  17. SC has some speed and depth within their overly-sized (in numbers) squad. It would be nice to see some upsets this season, esp. with some of the hype given by their own. I see alot of tossups on the schedule..but here's my go-round of predictions gleason- W(32-0) greenfield- W(37-8) lewis county- L camden- L loretto- L richland- L houston county- W adamsville- W waverly- W riverside- L finishing the season at .500
  18. Game held @ SCHS. I see Lewis Co. man-handling the Rebels when it comes down to it, but hoping to see a good game and not so much of a blowout. ..another 90yd TD scramble off a key fumble would certainly help, but good luck forcing as many errors on an actual team.
  19. I think I would have to agree with that
  20. Might be a close one, but Huntingdon should handle this one. Like was said before, I Dont see the mustangs droppin deuces to start off the season. I hope to see a good 10+ Win season once again
  21. According to the Tennessean CA won 14-12. sry no stats for ya
  22. Great Job so far to Camden, esp. their defense. I had Huntingdon picked all the way on this one, but you def. showed up. I anticipate watching the rest of your season
  23. Get Ready SC, you came out with two good wins but still have your hands full. It was great watchin A. Bagwell & D. Hill take care of business, and I hope these boys continue to shine the rest of the season. Keep workin with it D..keep it up. Now Stewart County Isnt a football town, everyone knows that..they arent spectacular and heroic, but so what. This ball club is surely re-building[or just trying to be a competing team], it will be interesting to see how they fair. I am not exactly chanting playoff remarks, but simply a better season than recent. It would be fantastic to see the Rebels hit .500 again, but either way ill cheer ya on. Good luck
