Coach Junglelove007, Dontay who is the best player in the district and argueably in the Region is the heart and soul of the CSAS team. Any fan can see that..... To answer your question yes i think they could have won if Dontay played and cobb or townsend didnt play, just like they could have won with dontay not playing.... With Dontay out of the line up, it forces people to play out of position and todo things that they normally dont have todo....Surely as a coach you know that.... Every team goes through some growing pains during a season...If i remember last year they got beat badly by Eastridge, howard, temple a few times, but overcame that and still went to the State finals..... All in all I heard Dontay is back practicing now and should be ready to go Friday and surely Saturday for Silverdale.. Best Regards Coach Junglelove007

Do you really consider CSAS beating Grace by 29 an upset? The first time the two school played CSAS was without two players (one starter) and had just got another player back from a pre-season injury..... CSAS is playing really well now, they survived playin 14 out of the first 15 games on the road and now get play the rest of the season at home, with only one road game left until tournament time /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

The same could be said about Temple....Dyer is the only real threat that can score everynight. Im sure some of the others could have a good game and score double figures, but it looks like Dyer is the only real threat....Temple is a one player team in my opinion, if you stop her they lose......

CSAS # 7? 1. They already beat your #4 Walker Valley 2. They just beat your #8 Temple by 26 in temples gym, who only lost to your #3 Cleveland by 2 in Clevelands gym

Id say its up for debate.....Sexton guarded Hampton the whole night and Hampton got the the basket when he wanted to and maybe only missed 3 shots all night. Hampton also runs the show for CSAS, Sexton is a great player that will play D-1 but id rather have Hampton as far as being an on court general for a team.

I hope that the Temple players are drinking plenty of water today, and that they dont have the heat up to high in Vance. CSAS going 12 deep with the run and gun is tough to play 4 qtrs against if you only have 7-8 players. Could be a good game, but im predicting CSAS 15+

CSAS is actually averaging 76.75 ppg but those stats mean nothing..... Be careful about builing up UC just like last year, just so they wont make the tournament again.....I know they are quite good, but CSAS traveled a road that no one in the world would have predicted for them to make and they were all juniors and this year the are running through people. It should be a good year for single A...Hopefully the buro will provide some excitement yet again.....

Yes I understand why Howard did what they had todo, but the previous post by Dragoonhater was implying that we took them off our schedule I guess because we didnt wanna play them. Howard is a great team, hopefully they can make another run to the buro, it was fun seeing them play up there last year

CSAS beat Sale Creek by 43 earlier this week, and they play Grace tonight @ Grace, this could be a good test since Whitwell has already played Grace...Should be a fun year!

Shaughnessy is much improved, but i dont think he is quite ready to take over a game yet. Atleast not against a team like CSAS and especially since he hasnt played since the Hall of Fame game that he got hurt in. No Howard/CSAS game this year. Howard took CSAS off their schedule when TSSAA reduced the number of games this year.
