CSAS was very bad in middle school last year, and not one of those kids are playing this year. CSLA was very good and those kids went to CSAS, along with a few students who had been on the waiting list and there is your new additions. CSAS's sophomore class is very deep and talented, and their 8th grade year, they were pretty good finishing 3rd.

Porter Roberts from Chattanooga Arts & Sciences played at Purdue from 1992-1996, so Purdue has had a TN player on their roster. Also Dontay Hampton from Chattanooga Arts & Sciences is currenlty a freshman playing at UT-Chattanooga.

I agree with you. I think Grace would struggle, but if CSAS were to get upset I think they could come up there and win. I don't think anyone will take the other teams forgranted. I heard CSAS had some coaches up there for the Clay/Pickett game. I guess they are getting ready already.

After talking to people who have seen Pickett play twice in the last week, they are not as good as last year. Grace has gotten things together and is a lot better than when you played them earlier in the year. CSAS lost to Grace without their all state point guard Dontay Hampton. Let me refresh your memory...CSAS came up there and and beat the unbeatable at the Wheelhouse. You guys beat Grace at home and CSAS killed Grace at their place when they were at full strength. Yall beat Temple by 8 at Temple and CSAS won their by 26.

Hater, Like Alex has said... there was no reason to show everything last night when you know you will see them again. Another thing you must understand, yes there is a lot of talent besides Hampton but when he is out everyone is playing out of position on offense and defense. When he is back things will be different.

Everyone knows who you are so give it up. You are just making yourself look dumber by the post. Foster was hurt thet is why he didn't play, and if Michael Johnson could dribble ... maybe he would play. I can understand that you want your friends to play but it is cool. CSAS WILL win when it matters.

McMasters won't post up, Herman won't pass the ball, and Grace won't play zone. That is why they will lose. CSAS will win even if they don't have Hampton.

In my opinion I don't think Grace can score enough to beat CSAS. From what I heard Grace played extremely hard against a below average McCallie team and only scored what 53 points. They go through too many 2-3 minute periods without scoring. however, they do seem to always get up for CSAS so we'll see.

Hampton is the glue that holds CSAS together. You can't replace someone like that. He is a great player. No one is worried. CSAS still has the talent to beat Grace, but they need the leadership. We will see if someone can step up.

He had just come back, but for some reason he never plays much against CSAS. He usually gets in foul trouble or can't keep up with the pace.

If Hampton doesn't play who wins?

So who would they play in the sub-state? Union City or Humbolt?
