  1. I say Westmoreland in a close one over Gordonsville. And about the FCS v. Trousdale game, I've got to agree with swanson. Trousdale County somehow hovers around .500 every year then turns it on during tournament time and ends up going to sub-state or something. So, is FCS the favorite? Yes; definately, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Trousdale were to pull out the upset.
  2. In my understanding, its all good unless the team crosses the center line, right?
  3. You mean the Jackson Sun knows its basketball season.....
  4. I say its all in the nature of things. If a kid is doing all he can do, but just isn't cutting the mustard, then that's one thing. But then there are the kids with potential who are too lazy to give 100% and think their job is to score only and not play defense or rebound or dive after loose balls, then maybe a few choice words are in order. But that's just my opinion. But I will say that its never appropriate to curse a player (or anyone else for that matter) based on race. Its how you play, not what color your skin is.
  5. That's funny. Yeah, I'll have to say JP can pull though
  6. District 8A Gordonsville (2) Merrol Hyde (7) Westmoreland (3) Mt. Juliet Christian (6) Watertown (4) Trousdale Co. (5) Friendship Christian (1) Bye All first round games at higher seed's gym and 2nd and 3rd rounds at Watertown
  7. Ben Crockett from Friendship. By the way I heard he hurt his ankle. Does anyone know any more?
  8. Friendship has been mentioned on here; that's reasonable. How about Livingston Academy?
  9. Yeah, they're pretty weak.....poor Merrol Hyde.....
  10. Zion Academy? I must be thinking of the wrong school, because the one I'm thinking about isn't that small. F.C. Boyd's gym is tiny. The dressing rooms are made out of plywood on the stage! But I'm tellin' ya'll, Hardy Memorial's gym up until this year is without question the smallest in the state. It makes Boyd's gym look like a Staples Center.
  11. I think its a good idea myself.....
  12. I didn't know the games were gonna start at 5 instead of 6:30 so I didn't get there until halftime, but I can agree with the comments made that Coach K outcoached Siegel's coach. Lebanon played wonderfully. Kudos guys! This was my first time seeing Siegel play in person this year, so I've got some questions. One, where is Keith R. and the white giant (don't know his name) going to college? Two, why didn't they get the ball more? I'd also like to say I was disappointed at Siegel's crowd. I've heard about their fan base, and I was really expecting more, even on the road. But hey, it was supposed to snow quite a bit, so.....
  13. As soon as I saw this topic I was hoping that no one had already posted this 'cause I was going to.....That's hilarious
  14. I'm excited about this game. I'll be there and ready to see a good game like always, but I'm gonna have to go Siegel by double digits.
  15. I do like the design on their floor
  16. All I know is I'd have a hard time scoring 113 if I were on the court by myself! I'm not gonna say its right or wrong, 'cause I've got mixed feelings about it, but one thing I do know is that we shouldn't blame the girl. She was just playing the game, and I hope all this doesn't turn into some Kobe-type situation.
  17. I know someone mentioned the Wildcat at WC and I remember that. It was pretty funny. As for gyms, I'll cast my vote for L-town. Clarksville Academy has great jams as well.
  18. I don't think it really matters because 95% of the time you've gotta have both to go to state anyways. But if you look at my name I think you'll figure out which one I like the best.....
