LA girls had a very cold shooting night as 32 points isn't going to win any games. Cookeville isn't all that impressive to me as they were not going to good themselves until the last quarter when #20 took over. I don't think Cookeville girls caught the real LA last night. Wildcat 1970

I agree 100%. I can't see playing just to be playing. Most coaches set that as their goal and try to get as close as they can to it. Most coaches work to try to be as good as they can toward tournament time because they want to try to win the championship. Wildcat 1970

Do you know any more details on what was the problem with coach Melton? I just found out about this story on Wednesday. Also in Livingston there always seem to be alot of strange going ons with other people causing problems if their kid don't get to play, and things like that. What did coach Melton do to deserve considering getting fired? Some people there do not have their heads screwed on correctly. Wildcat 1970

I just read about Willie Aybar. He evidently has drug problems. I hate for the Braves to have one of these idiots on the team that has to do drugs. They make all that money and then shoot or snort their life away sort of like a Darryl Strawberry and a bunch of others. Aybar hasn't played for the Braves all that much but supposedly had alot of promise. Wildcat 1970

I am no Upperman fan but I want to add to dctigerfan's post. You might have a problem with parking close to the MTSU arena as school will be going on. My experience with that came when LA was going to all those state tournaments. Parking is available but may be quite a little walk, but the excercise will be good for ya. I think they do run a shuttle from some parking lots to the parking lot close to the arena and you can get off and walk from there. On tickets, should be easy, just walk right up to the ticket window but might be a small line for that but no big deal unless you wait until the last minutes. If Upperman makes the SEMIS and FINALS then you should get your tickets right when you find out the game they are going to be playing because the ticket booth inside will be selling tickets for the future game. Semis and Finals draw big crowds. If you want a reserved seat get the tickets early. Tickets will maybe cost from $7 to $10 depending on whether its the first game with the higher amount for the finals I think. They may be more than $10 for the finals for certain seats, don't know as its been a while since I have been there. One more thing. They do the games in sessions. You can't buy a ticket and see one session and stay in the arena for the next session like the night games unless they have changed things. Wildcat 1970

I wasn't able to find the strength stuff for the California teams. Yeah, I know you can throw all the stuff about strength and all when its tournament time. Hog-Eye is a tough team, BTW will find that out. BTW has not been thru the wash like LA has. Wildcat 1970

Just going by information found on this website, BT Washington has only played 1 team all season that had a strength rating in the top 10 which was Westview and that was in the sub-state game. Westview was #5 and BT got to the state by beating them. No one else that they whipped all season had a strength rating of below 25th. LA is #6 in strength. LA can win this game. It will be close I think. I am going to pick LA by 3 points. Wildcat 1970

For your information, I am basing my opinion on the trip out there MYSELF. Its MY opinion of it! I am not representing LA fans, I don't know what they think of it. and by the way I used to live in Athens, Tn. I knew about Central before I even went there for a basketball game. Talking about breathing room, I WAS MAKING REFERENCE TO THE HUGE CROWD that was there. You evidently have a sore spot yourself because your team almost blew the lead in that game and you have a pretty good idea of what IS going to happen this time. LA is coming to beat your team!
