Havengrad...I stand corrected. Trezevant is very disciplined and they are taking control of the game here in the 3rd. I'm very impressed with their discipline and CC better pick it up or they are fixing to get beaten down here in the 2nd half.

I will have front row seats, probably very close to the action. Memphis style of play---utilize the athletic ability to overcome a disciplined game plan. (Gap spacing -too much or lack thereof, halftime adjustments, play calling with run/pass instead, penalties or lack of it). Memphis always has an advantage with the number of athletes on a team and this year is no different than any other---but what Memphis usually lacks is discipline. Passing games and run sets often work, when the other team doesn't adjust. Come on to CC and watch the game...you should know about mid 3rd the difference.

Might be the best matchup in the State in any classification. I predict CC will pull this one out. Too much discipline on the O Line and D Line and it's not a "Memphis" style of play. It's athleticism with discipline in CC.....CC by 10

I don't have any allegiance to the Stangs, but I tend to agree with the Frog. That freshman should have played a lot more this year. I have friends in Henry County who wished he would have came with the other "Stang" freshman this year. Those 2 kids are special and shouldn't be relegated to having to "wait". Congrats to the Seniors on four years of awesome football and it was fun watching your class compete like you did the last 4 years. Good luck Peabody as you continue on your season.

Ok newbie. I saw OC players and UC players at the Milan/Westview game. The OC guys were there for the girls, not the game. UC was cheering for WV and did sit on their side. Nothing but respect between WV and UC....OC --different story (according to the kids) Now on to the Dresden and UC game....I'm pulling for Dresden, but think UC will win by 40. It's UC's to lose and I don't see them being challenged until the semis. Dresden will remember the last couple of years and it should be different the next 2 or 3. Good season for both teams, but it's all for nought if UC should lose a game this year. To be the champ, you have to beat the champ.

After watching the Milan/Westview game, I predict Milan will win this game by at least 2 touchdowns. They are a downhill running team that likes to pound it. Milan is a lot better in this style of offense than they were earlier in the year. Should be a good game, but Milan should move on.

Dude or M'am...I don't have a dog in the hunt, just a fan of football. The refs let a lot more go against Milan than they called last night. Milan just beat WV down and they have a good team. My point is quit crying like a little girl and accept the victory and move on to Camden.

Good win Milan. Good luck the rest of the way. I don't understand why it's always a blame game with the refs....the refs for this game weren't even from the regular season area???

Always a blame game...when anybody's team loses. Both teams are good and it went Dyersburg's way tonight.

Big Purple----this is the ONLY true topic link to this game...the other one is a poser. I don't really see a revenge factor going on with these programs. I don't believe that mindset is needed when these 2 get together. Both have a lot of respect for each other---no motivation is needed, when these 2 coaches are leading their teams. Business as usual and if they lose, then it's class and non-blame. I wouldn't be surprised if either team won, but I'm sticking with the home team and their passing attack.

Liberty by 2 TDs...Dyersburg has athletes, but Liberty is battled tested and very solid. And they have athletes to match up..

Don't know much about Raleigh, but I've watched Crockett County a couple of times.....Crockett County by 3 TDs...not so much about the running back, but their defense has great team speed, can tackle in open spaces, and their special teams is as good as I've seen this year. Good luck to CC!

Thanks HevyRevy.....does anyone know what radio stations are covering this game?? It's funny listening to the Huntingdon radio announcers call an "unbiased" game..lol If so, please post the station numbers..thanks

Both teams have great programs. I'm not celebrating just "one" player from either team, because every great player has to have help at this level of competition. The unsung heroes or AKA "The Line" play a pivotal part of all great offensive performers (QB, RB, etc)...Both teams will be tough outs in the playoffs. It's good to see a season finale matchup between a very good 4A team and a very good 3A teams who are in the same district. I wouldn't predict a blowout by CC, but they are heavily favored. Congrats to both clubs for their regular seasons....in advance. Prayers for a good, safe game and hopefully both teams come out healthy and ready for the November season.

I just looked at his stats, yes--he is impressive. Rollins? -- committed to Arkansas State. Either way, Jones should get a nomination as a finalist with his stats as well.

Does anyone know if the running back from Crockett is in the running for a Mr. Football nomination? If not, he should be. He's a stud out there and has some video game numbers.

Dresden's line is coming up in the next 3 seasons or so, but when Dresser returns---Dresden will propel up even more. I actually look forward to watching the Lions over the next couple of years and seeing their progression. Dresden is on the right track and gaining respect one game at a time. Good luck against the Stangs.....they are currently in disarray over there and I hope Dresden can knock them off.

Probably was a rumor. I was told by an individual from Milan, but that "dad" said the ref agreed with the refs from the game so it wasn't really an issue anyways except for some mad fans. Either way, both teams are doing well and Crockett County is for real. I expect all to do well in the playoffs. Great district and several good programs.
