ok jasmine duke is not as great as you make her out to be roper...Yeah shes big and shes got a good shot but only from the elbow down. shes not that great on defense and in order to be miss basketball you need versatility. Duke doesnt have that. Maybe when she gets a wider shot range than the elbow and right under the goal shell be a candidate. Look at abby andrews. she plays a guard but she can show anybody up underneath as well, and she plays tough D..thats a good candidate and thats why she won it this year..

Perry county travels to Santa Fe friday night for round 1 of the region tournament. Perry county revolves around the outside game and is a pretty small team, while santa fe mainly revolves around their post game and is a rather good sized team. How will this game go and will santa fe be able to make it past round 1 this year..what are your predictions?

last year the championship came down between Richland and Santa Fe. Will Richland do it again? Will Santa Fe be their opponent? Do you think Santa Fe will beat Richland for the championship this year, they would have to be hungry for revenge after last year..

I would just like to congratulate the Collinwood trojanettes on their victory tonight against moore co. You all played a fantastic game and I hope to see you ladies playing at the Buro this year! Abby Andrews you are one of the best players Ive seen in a while, not the least bit selfish and you have a very bright future ahead of you. And so do you Leslie Daniels. You two young ladies will definately be seen in college basketball. Keep up the good work girls and go get em in the Buro!!

Wayne Co will lead for a little bit, but Collinwood is will pull out a win, Id say this is going to be a nail-biter but the Trojanettes will win by about 5 or 6 points...

this will definatley be a goo game. I agree it is hard to beat a good team 3 times in one year, and santa fe is a good team, the last time they played richland, most of them had off games, except for the sewell girl she played well. If all of the girls can play like she did that game they will come out with a win. They also need to play with the intensity that they played with thursday night against moore county if they want to become district champs. Good luck to both teams this will be a good one to watch!

I definately think that the game between santa fe and richland will be close. If santa fe plays like they did against moore co they have a great chance of winning, they need to play with the intensity that they played with and they will be able to come out with a win. Richland is stronger than ever with great play from Duke, Bell, and Glidden, with that trio it is hard to beat them, and they have shown that, with only 2 losses on the season, both coming from Alabama teams. Both teams deserve this win so it comes down to who wants it more. Santa Fe will have to step up and play excellent defense on the perimeter to shut down the threes, but at the same time they will have to close the inside, and slow down Duke, and Glidden as well as she likes to cut through there. I am going to say it will be very close as long as both teams show up, but this is the championship game so why wouldnt you show up ready? Good Luck to both teams, Im looking forward to a great game, I will go with Santa Fe by 4...maybe even an overtime

Santa Fe has sophomore Tiffany Black that is a big help off of the bench, shes about 6'0-6'1 and improves a little more everyday. If she keeps going at this rate she will be a force to be reckoned with, and will see a lot of playing time next year im sure.

Im thinking this is going to be a good game to watch. Yes Moore Co does have all of their players back, but they dont play as very much as a team. They mainly look to number 10, yes the pincheon girl is a good ball player, but she cannot beat a whole team by herself..I think that the game will be up and down, moore county leading some, santa fe leading some, but I am quite confident that Santa Fe can pull it together and come out on top, Ill say by about 5 points or so. But in order to do this they are going to need a good game by Sewell, White, and Gardner, and if Priest can continue to hit the threes like she has been, they should definately come out with a win..Good Luck Lady Cats!

Santa Fe has beat Moore county once in overtime by 1 point, the next meeting Moore county beat santa fe by at least 20 points at Moore Co..will the third time be the charm for Santa Fe? How do you think this game will go?

Santa Fe's Sewell has been playing some good ball here lately,her and White make an excellent team if both show up, MTCS has definately got a handfull with those two but they are definately a good ball team. I am going to say Santa Fe by at least 10-15..

HA!!! and moore county has some of the cleanest and most respectful players in tennessee right? hahaha thank you for the good laugh, if you want to play this game others can do it too lynchmob, 10 from MC threw some <b>PUNCHES</b> not just elbows, punches, and how exactly do you throw a forearm may i ask? i really do not believe that that is physically possible to "throw your forearm"..they dont make them too smart up there in moore county do they? 20 might have kicked one of your players but i doubt it was completely intentional,it was more than likely an accident, because i cant see 20 going up and kicking someone like shes doing goalkick..oh and lynchmob, since you think that you can throw your forearm let me explain to you what a goalkick is..in soccer they set the ball on a line and the goalie runs up and kicks it..you do know what a goalie is correct? or do i need to explain that one to you? and you cannot honestly sit there and tell me that you have never gotten angry after a game and didnt shake everyones hands, 20 did shake some hands there was just a couple she didnt want to, and im sure we are all guilty of doing that at one time or another.

Thanks Jamie! yes the coach did get a "T" when he got angry about a call, but he wasnt out on the floor or in the refs face he just stood up and shouted, and I do believe that i have seen a coach stand up and shout at pretty much every game. I am not going to say the game was completely the refs fault because it wasnt, SF didnt show up the first quarter, but they were definatey there the rest of the game, they might not have won if the refs had called it better, but they definately would have been much closer. I believe the referees were pretty terrible when Richland played them, if I remember correctly, your ladies were up by 15 or 20 then the refs called every little thing, and it was like if you breathed on someone it was a foul, which brought the game closer and you only won by 5, is that right?

ok obviously none of you were at the game tonight. The referees were some of the worst i have ever seen. SF did play pretty bad the 1 quarter, but if it hadnt been for the calls the refs made i think they would have come much closer than they did after that quarter.. Apparently Pincheon is immune to fouling anyone, she NEVER walks or double dribbles, because the referees never called anything against her, and believe me she did all of the above at least once. SFs coach was told that he had lost his "coach box" privaleges and he was told that he could no longer get up. Sfs captain, the speaking captain, was told to stop talking to the referees and play ball, when I believe she only said one thing to him. Someone should definately send the tape from tonights game into the TSSAA because these referees do NOT need to ref one more game if they are going to do it how they did tonight!

I would say that Wayne county will keep it close for a while to make for a good game, but I think S'town will come out of this one with a win..Probably by about 5-10 points, if not more..
