  1. Yes, the ice cream was as good as ever. I had 8 cones this year and gained 5 pounds. Yes, I loved every byte again!!!
  2. I think there is a lot more than you think. The Rankings help me figure out who to watch and keep track on. You do a great job and I really appreciate it!!!! Glad to see my son finally made your list. I hope they will open the truck doors at the Gym so I can get my BIG head in now. LOL Your job would be a liitle easier if all the coaches posted dual results. Hopefully next year they will. Thanks again!!!
  3. We want be taking 4 at 119. The Greeneville wrestler lost his cool during the match and got DQ. He knew he was going to State win or lose. What a major mistake on his part. It cost the team all the points he had scored for the tournament too. Just a freshman but he has a lot of learning and growing up to do.
  4. Best I can do: 103 Schurlknight (SH) over Aumon (BN) 112 King (G) over Mann (KPT) 119 Pearce (SH) over Thomas )DC) 125 Mann (KPT) over Looser (JC) 130 Bishop (SE) over Nease (DC) 135 Herold (MW) over Johnson (JC) 140 Usary (SH) over Ivey (JC) 145 Bishop (SE) over Stull (SH) 152 Myers (G) over Shipley (SH) 160 Cruise (SH) over Watkins (JC) 171 King (TH) over Mathes (BN) 189 Carter (KPT) over Hall (CD) 215 Montgomey (BN) over Lewis (SH) 285 Fleming (KPT) over Sims (G)
  5. Still good! At $4 a cone, cost me $20 last year!!! Loved every byte too!
  6. I believe Matt King beat Luke Hall 8-2 at the GIT. So, I'll take Porkchop over Hames, 3-2 in the finals.
  7. Let me add some changes and additions: 112 - King - G 119 - Wilson - SE or Pearce - SH 152 - Myers - G 160 - Erwin - DB or Watkins - JC ( Wonder if either one will drop to 154?) 171 - King - TH or Kraus - JC 189 - Hall - CD 215 - Flemming - DB Hwt - Feathers - BN or Sims - G
  8. Have you beat anybody noteworthy this year and if so, who? With your comments, you better win the Region because if you don't, the whole gym will be cheering when you lose!!!!! You've set the stage and if you don't come through, you'll here about it from a lot of Region fans. Some leasons have to be learned the hard way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Why would they dodge you? Nobody even knows who you are in Region 1, let alone the rest of the State. I don't see you winning Region 1 at 152 anyway. The boys from Greenback don't run from anyone and from the looks of the team score, they didn't need to wrestle thier best wrestlers to win. You need to chill and let your wrestling do the talking for you.
  10. The match started at 130. Greeneville won at 119, 135, 160, 189, HW. The 215 match was really close. Greeneville forfeited 125, 130 and 152. You can't beat a program as good as SH giving up forfeits, let alone 3 of them. Congrats to SH and DB. I know you??™ll represent Region 1 well!!!
  11. 12. Yes, Kyle Stuff of Gibbs beat Worley 8 - 2 in the GIT Finals.
  13. I believe I would change 215 to Patton (Blackman) vs Stuff (Gibbs). Not sure of the outcome on this one. Stuff beat Worley from Hixon soundly at the GIT this past weekend. I think it was something like 8-2 and controlled the whole match.
  14. Thanks chattownrasslin for your comment. I believe you might have fueled the fire under the porchop, causing him to burn around the edges. The fire might only be put out via a State Championship! That wouldn??™t surprise a lot of people that know him and the hard work that he has put in since last year!
  15. I believe Matt King lower weights and Kyle Stuff upper weights.
  16. Watson was sick and didn't make the trip.

  21. The last time I saw porkchop, he was at a buffet and had a plate full of porkchops, mash-tators and cole-slaw. I'm not sure 112 will ever be reached this year. After that night, 121 might be a reach for porkchop.
  22. If a kid wants to take the next step to becoming a top notch wrestler, I would suggest sending him to the J. Robinson 28 day Intensive wrestling camp in Minnesota. Its 28 days of hard wrestling and training. Starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 9 PM everyday. The last morning of camp is a 15 mile run that has to be completed by 9 AM. I promise that if a kid makes it through this camp, he will come back a different person and a much much better wrestler. He??™ll know what being in wrestling shape is and what it takes to get there. I sent my son this past summer and he is a different wrestler this year. His last match was against a wrestler that pinned him easily last year in the second period. My son beat him this year 13 ??“ 4. The physical and mental change in my son was well worth the cost of the camp. Check it out. http://www.jrobinsonwrestlingcamps.com/wrestling/
  23. This irresponsible attack on a defenseless chair brings back a haunting member from my past (25+ years ago) that I??™d like to share. As a young sophomore, I had to watch the senseless attack on a locker-room sink. After an unexpected dual lose, the coach needed to show the proper technique on throwing a cross-face. After surveying the surroundings, his eyes caught the sink. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> With fire in his eyes and spitting after ever word, he ran towards the sink. I remember the sink quivering as the coach approached. After the demonstration was over, the sink hung lifeless from the wall, water poring out of its lifeless body. Needless to say, the sink did need replacing. The coach did learn from this as he picked wisely the next time he needed to vent. If memory serves me right, he used a pillow!! I understand that Coaches need to vent from time to time but why pick on a defenseless opponent? Look in the stands and pick out the Biggest, Meanest man or women and go get you some!!!! Your welcome Coach!!!! /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> Anyone else have a story they would like to share?
  24. It was a very exciting and well fought match starting with the 145 pound class. Jeff Co. jumped out to a 28 ??“ 0 lead after the 215 match. Greeneville then ran off 5 straight wins by pin or forfeit to take the lead 30 ??“ 28. 103 was a double forfeit. Greeneville forfeited 135 to give the lead back to Jeff Co. and then pinned at 140 to take the win 36 ??“ 34. The coaches planned and played their strategy from one weight class to the next. Jeff Co had 3 or 4 wrestlers not in the line-up, as did Greeneville. I believe the match on Jan 20 will be more exciting as I don??™t expect many forfeits then. Great match guys!
