Grace needs to come out intensive and ready to play. If they execute well then they will come out with an easy win.

Yeah Matt Jones does not throw teh heater...maybe hit 80 a couple of times. But then he doesnt have an off-speed pitch to follow up with. But he was not horrible obviously cause Grace didnt hit him to well. Opening game though so good luck Eagles.

Grace is gonna come out strong. They are loaded with tons of talent in the Junior class this year. David Garrett may i mention...hes super quick,super hard, and hard to beat.

I think Ruston Pierce from Grace Academy is the best. He has turned the program around. One reason for me saying this is the fact that the class next door to him constantly chants "RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS" Top notch recruiting might be pretty good but when you got tons of fans chanting "RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS RUSS" That is what counts in the long run, not top notch recruiting

Congrats Grace, what a BIG boi win but good job to Pickett County too. Grace just showed up and played team ball and seemed much more than Pickett could handle. Grace played alot of team ball vs individual ball which really helped them out

Im gonna say DeWayne C-C-Caldwell is the fastest.

Well Jeff might of been holding onto him, but when the ball was in Grace's posession Temple players were all over Grace. And Seth W holds his hand out and plays hand ball cause he cant play D

Are you kidding? Jurick showed that he has HORRIBLE touch. MOST of his points were from layups. He cannot shoot if his life depended on it. Carter can has touch from inside and out, he was just having an off night. And im pretty sure Jurick got his junk stopped a few times on teh way up...But when you have alot more mass on someone you will be able to push around anybody but when it comes to skill I am going to have to go with Cater. Jurick is a very soft kid too. His dunks for the most part are all gentle.

I dont know the details but the HEAR Nick Van Horn got T'd up twice so that probaly put Grce down alot, not saying he is the team but he is a VERY stong leader that helps get them together. So now he cant play in Fridays game against South Pitt AND Senior Night.Anybody else know the details?

Pool 3 Red Bank East Ridge Grace Academy Marion Co. Soddy Daisy Im sure Grace is looked at as the little private school that is going nowhere...but does anyone think they will get anywhere in this tourney and come away with some wins?

Yeah he did seem a little rattled up,maybe alot of pressure from all the people there watching(scouts and whatnot) but he is not just good at grace, he is good all around, just had an off night. Can you honestly expect him to come over 365 days a year and play hard and make everything??6'10" or not, just not logical but grace is a very respectable team with talent that deserves the respect.

I agree, if Grace plays as intense as they have been playing before and not get big-headed from beating Temple three times already, they SHOULD come out with a win. That is the only chance Temple has to win I think. Grace has proven they can play ball above them. Temple is not at all a bad team though

I love all the pics of these trophy's in the past! makes so scared that 3 years ago Temple was a threat,but now half of those players are gone! Grace comes out with this win, 66-48...Congrats Grace! Carters dunk really set the pace of the first half until players got into foul trouble. Great job subs for playing great for them. Nick Van Horn had a great second half with lots of rebounds and smart thinking. Great dunk at the end by Carter too. Good job Grace AND Grace Fans
