I didnt say that what the player did was right... all I was saying is that ya'll cant say that you hold yourselves above us when you are the ones that start with the wrong people... and NO I am not mistaken about the grown man yelling stuff to a girl... maybe you'll believe me when I tell you that every person around her (including me) was trying to keep her from goin off the deep end because some foolish man was threatening her...now what happened at Cosby was ridiculous.. it should have never happened but that is just the way things are I guess... Ill have to admit both sides are guilty of acting childish... but the people from Rockwood cant say they didnt do anything... they are just as guilty as the next person... Yesterday's actions were much better from both sides but if I was guessing Id say that is because the coaches laid the law down.... Good luck Rockwood on the rest of your season. GO EAGLES!!

Congrats Cosby a win tonight over Rockwood... and ya know what if you were there (at Cosby) then you would know that a GROWN MAN was the one that was talking the trash... the first time something was said #12 just turned around and looked... but when the man just kept on saying stuff to him he said something right back and if I'm not mistaken either that same man or another one started with a teenage girl sayin that he was goin to come over there and whoop her and all of this other stuff.... but by far the "fighting and shooting birds" was caused by either a very angry dad or grandpa... because he was actin like a child. So there is no way you all can say that you hold yourselves above us... because ya'll started it.... childish to say ..I know... but that is the only way to put it....

does anyone have any opinions on this game... ever since that tragic loss in the football playoffs it seems as if Cosby and Harriman have been battling it out when playing each other.....

and in the state!

EVERY PERSON from west tn should be ashamed of theirselves (well except for the ones that just won the championship game)......understood that you all are happy that the precious gold ball is goin to the west but there is no reason you all should get on here and bash Grace or anyone else for that matter...it is absolutely amazing at how yuns are acting....win with class and stop acting like you are 2.....

I hope that you all continue to do well in the tournament... you all played one heck of a game...Cosby isnt overrated- and that sure wasnt their best game but ya know all is said and done soo.... I would just like to tell the boys from Cosby that I am very proud of you and you all make me proud to say that I am from Cosby... Uhhh... there are three guys that can shoot exceptionally well from the arc... and another that can shoot if he very well pleases (if I am doin my math right that makes 5)... if you could only hear these guys all they talk about it T-E-A-M...... and working together.... and uhh yea they have the effort, spirit, attitude (whatever you want to call it) too.... if they will just use it and not get too excited. but I dont think that will happen (knock on wood). NO RESPECT FOR THE WEST ?!?!?!?..... you have got to be kiddin me.... all that is on these threads is people from West Tn teams boasting about how "little teams from the East" are goin to get it handed to them.... and that they have to actually work and play hard teams to get where they are and that Cosby plays in a sorry district, region, etc. .... I am sorry but just because you are from the West does not mean that you are the "shiz" and that you are unbeatable..... I have never seen any West Tn team play so I cant say whether you are good or bad or whatever.... you must be somethin since you are in the state tournament but..... you really cant just count people from the East out.... I bet that you have NOT read one post from someone that plays on the Cosby basketball team (or their fans for that matter) that says anything that could be taken as...." Oh we are ranked #1 in the STATE so we dont have to do any work or anything... those West Tn teams are nothing.. we have nothing to worry about..." and if that is not what people from the West are sayin then they really need to make theirselves clear... because let me tell you that is how it is being taken...... and it makes Cosby want it even more...... I totally agree... I mean maybe it should have been close if it was a regular season game BUT this was a SUBSTATE game..... there is no way Cosby was goin to beat them by 40 in that game.... Hampton came ready to play.... but Cosby was just better in the end.... for a substate game I do believe that 98-74 was pretty darn good!! GO EAGLES!!!!

How in the world was that game close???? And once again so sorry that Cosby isnt from the west.... but over here in good ole Cosby we wouldnt have it any other way!!! Have you guys even played Hampton?? Cuz if you havent then how would you know how much we were supposed to beat them by..... besides that was a substate game I dont think that Hampton was goin to come in there and just hand it to Cosby on a silver platter..... I still dont know how you can say that was a close game unless you are talkin about the first part of the game... but you also know that they were only lackin 2 points from triple digits right.... but I suppose we will see next Wednesday........ So sorry that EAST TN teams are just a bunch of "hicks" that couldnt tell you all the difference between a basketball and a rock..... and HOW IN THE WORLD is 34-1 not a "good" record??? and just so you know when they played those "sorry" teams over and over did you ever think that maybe just maybe they HAD to.... and in those games...ummm... lets see Cosby not once lowered their standards and played at a lower level.... seein as how they ALWAYS beat them by 20-30+ All I am sayin is dont underestimate the East.... cuz over here, these guys are smart they dont overlook anything and they sure dont go into a game thinkin " Oh my this team is nothin we dont have to do a darn thing tonight.... Well just take it easy..." and I recall a quote from their coach that said that when he went into the locker room after their 98-74 SUBSTATE win.... there was no yelling no celebrating... they were already thinkin about the state tournament and him "Coach, we aren't done yet, we've still got games left"...... if that doesnt tell you anything then nothin will.... You all cant over look Cosby... just because they are from the EAST. Yea everyone has a bad night and strange things happen in the 'boro. BUT these guys arent goin to just lay down for Humboldt or anyone else for that matter. Everyone of them are ALL basketball... you better believe that they will be ready and will play their hardest.... they arent goin to look at the sites.... they are goin to play some ball....
