marching wise :honestly riverdales band isnt that bad. also how would you really know how good blackmans band is considering they DONT COMPETE?? honetly from a marchers frame of mind and knowledge riverdales band is better that blackmans. blackman's shows are crowd pleasers. easy loud music. anyone with their numbers can do it. riverdale has shows that they want to take to a competition. they see half time performances as a practice run for competitions, as does any abnd that competes. concert wise: blackman has a great concert band as does riverdale. thursday and friday i was actyally participating in all-couny band and there were numerous kids from both schools showing that they are both full of great musicians. as for this topic i wonder why most local people see things in this light. they see blackman as awesome and riverdale as not so awesome. they are both concerned with differn things.

so who is going to MTSBOA concert fest and what are yall playing? were playing sinfonia noblissima by robert jager for our graded piece and nocturn for our warm up piece

yeah its awesome. were supposed to have new raps for the lavergne and the blackman games too! if you really like them they are going to be sellin CDs at school for like $6. you should also watch the cheerleaders too. one of my friends told me they are gonna go up and do the stop the chop motions. lol. see yall tonight!!!

oakland has one. we pick 4 games a year to go to and thats all though. its not all of the band either. usually around half, more if its a big game though.

mmm i dont thinkwe ever were at the same comps. acutally i dont think weve ever met yall at a comp in the past 4 years iv been in band.

Julie Davila she is a BEAST (meaning the bomb) when she was at oakland she made our drumline into the best in the state im glad the tullahomah kids are profiting from her. our current percussionists dont exactly deserve her.
