Humboldt won their sectional game as well as Wartburg. It seems everyone was picking against wartburg, what do they bring to the table.

Our chances against UC are alot better if they score 86 rather than the 100+ points they are averaging lately, so who knows anything can happen and im hoping that something is a Viking victory.

Union City has a very good team, they are quick just like last year. The thing that got humboldt tonight was that we turned the ball over (due to the press) just making bad passes mainly, and then free throw shooting. im looking forward to the game in humboldt. And i think you are right about the laying down part. there towards the end they just did not want to try and break down the press and started making bad passes and trying to dribble through 3 defenders.

Saying that a 5' 8 guy can get above the rim and throw it down, just like the big men typically is not a bad thing.

I never said they were, and i never said we would beat UC by that much, all i said is that it could be a close game coming down to the final minutes. I think we have good enough guards to break down a press. We are just going to have to wati until friday to see how they do. good luck friday.

If Humboldt plays as well as they did tonight against Trenton expect a very tight game going down to the final minutes. Humboldt defeated trenton 101-63.

Humboldt played a great game tonight against Trenton, winning 101-63, if Humboldt plays with the same intensity friday when they go to Union City it could be a good game to watch. Theres been a lot of talk about Union City being a great team this year, i can't wait till Friday to see the game. Predictions?

Humboldt won, but they looked like they did not believe milan would have a chance and milan brought their game. The only exciting part was an alley-oop to Derek Sain from Odell Jackson.

You are probably the main reason for hornedhelmet's responses, yet you said that you do not down talk other teams. And unless you have psychic powers you cannot say that milan will win for a fact. McKinney had 28 and Sain had 22, great game until humboldt just fell apart after bringing it back to within 6 at the end of the third. Middleton can shoot very well, they were like 75% from the line, and i wouldnt doubt that they were near that for their FG%. Middleton made about 11 3-pointers. Good team in Middleton they can play some ball.

EJ Epperson did not play nor did Chauncey Hunt, and in my opinion if we play like we did tonite all season, we may just end up last. We did not shoot, rebound, catch or pass the ball well at all. I think it was just one of those games, and when we get the players from football it will come together and we will be just fine.

Last year Union City had trouble with Humboldt's inside game, Union City lost 3 out the 4 times they played Humboldt. Although Humboldt may have lost Rose they still have a great inside game with Saine and Epperson coming back along with Deandre Perry and Charles Taylor, both of them are two tall talented sophomores.
