November 11th West Greene will play Cherokee in their (Cherokee's) 1st game of the year. A warm-up game if ya ask me.

I played against Oglesby way back in 8th grade when he played in Dandridge. His stroke was crazy even then he dropped 25 on us in a middleschool game and his team (Maury) won by like 30. Without Oglesaby we beat Maury by 20. Good Luck Man!

Tyler Smith from Volunteer is an excellent golfer who is only a junior. HE shot a 33 in the District tournament

Cherokee High---------5 incoming Seniors coming off a season of 16and10 who beat DB for the first time in its history last year. Will be a team to watch against teams like Greenville who's supposed to win conference

I think that bands are an important factor in the high school football atmosphere ONLY if they play to encourage the players not for their own glory that's what parades are for.lol

From what i'm told he's about 6'7 and of Wiggins caliber. A friend of mine said that he and Wiggins got in a dispute and quoted Wiggins as saying "this is my team" It should be an interesting year.

First of all Greenville is highly overrated this year Last year Wiggins had an excellent supporting cast and i dont see that this year A little food for thought: Cherokee held Wiggins to under 5 points last year in Greenville yet Greenville still won DB and Science Hill is still the best match-up in the region in any sport and the environment is incredible

That's the question everyone in Greenville is asking this year. I is rumored that they took in a transfer student who is of Wiggins caliber.

Yeah it's great to say that someone broke a record like that but in high school sports it all depends on who you play. Lets put those guys against Morristown West's Defense and see if he can get 60 yards

I went and watched Cherokee and Science Hill play a few weeks back and they had Spurrier Field PACKED! The Science Hill student section was the best ive witnessed PERIOD
