Jackson- You are right. I had the privilege of being the director at Greenville. We had to redraw the brackets and a mother and father from Memphis arrived at 6.00 P. M. and the son had already wrestled and they didn't get to see him wrestle. I took a worse chewing over that than I ever did as an official.

Alcoa would have kept Fulton in the fifth week, but Fulton wanted to go to the 0 week. This would have put Fulton and Maryville as the first two games.

In order for an eighth grader to be elgible in the eighth grade for the high school team, the eighth grade must be under the same principal as the high school.

Eddie, why are so against wrestling? It has its place like all other sports, I believe that youngsters should participate in as many sports as possible.

Antwan- I agree, I said this before we separated the Dll schools. The field won't be level until every school either comes in first or second. Champions or runners-up. Don't we live in a sick society? Why can't we play a few games and let out student-athletes learn from playing the game?

I worked for 26 years in the Alcoa School System, 22 as principal at AHS and we always had about one third of our students that paid tuition. This percentage was always higher than the percentage of tuition athletes.
