Ladies you have made all of Bartlett proud. Ya'll left everything out on the floor every night and have nothing to be ashamed about. Even though ya'll were down by 20 in the 3rd quarter tonight you showed pride and a bunch of heart to comeback and have a last second shot to go into overtime tonight. Good Job on a great season and everybody needs to know that this team will be back again next year.

I know that USJ beat Bartlett 2-1. I was told Bartlett pitched their ace for 3 or 4 innings and had a no hitter goign when they took him out. They only other thing i heard was that Bartlett waxed BCHS

He is right. If you play a 2-2-1 press the entire game then you will beat them by twenty. Every once in a while they will break the press and get a lay up but bartlett was down by 20 in the 3rd qaurter and came back to lose by three. They got 2 10 second calls on Northside b/c of their press. One other thing, Whoever plays Northside beat the crap out of them. They earned the win and I won't take that away from them but they have absolutely no class what so ever. After they game fans were taking pictures on OUR B at half court and stomping on it. We know that ya'll won the game but atleast show some class. Also after the game our girls were getting congragulated on a great season and Northside stood at half court chanting some crap at them. Just remember what goes around comes around.

I know in AAA you have to consider Bartlett again. They are returning everybody but 2 Srs. Their top 3 scorers will return 2 are Jrs. and one is a Freshman. They also have a Freshman that is around 6' tall and is a wide body with the potential to be really good. Don't count them out. They will repeat next year as district champs and region champs, what they do after that is all up to how bad they want it.

There is nothing in the world i would like to see more than the Bartlett Lady Panthers to make it to state. With a win tonight it would be the first trip for the Lady Panthers in their history. The only problem is that they have to play Northside. This team is good. They have one player I know that has already signed with Colorado and according to BHS coach they are very athletic and have good players. I will support this Lady Panthers team the entire way. I just want them to know whether they win or lose it has been one heck of a season and you have nothing to be ashamed about. Good Luck tonight ladies.

If Hamilton and RE meet in the finals at state then it will read. Turn out the lights RE, The party is over. Ya'll had a great season. Just tough to beat a team like that.

unless Jackson is terrible they will kill dyersburg. Bartlett scrimmaged Dyersburg this past weekend and waxed them. They couldn't hit worth a lick. Dyersburg is not very good at all.

they are pretty big and very athletic. They have three or four kids that are around 6'5 or 6'6. They also have quick guards. One of them #23 he is a sophmore can shoot the lights out. They do a bunch of half court traps to push the pace and then pull back into a zone and make u shoot them out of it. They have gotten a lot better since beginning of year and will give RE a challenge is regions finals i think

The only thing about Bolton is I think they only slow down the ball when the other teams slows it down. They will play into Brightons game. I saw them play RE and Craigmont and Bolton ran the entire time, but when they played us and i saw them play ECS then since we played our game they played it as well. Bolton is wierd. Descent guards but i think they need to put longshore and pruitt on court at different times. With them both on the court it gives other teams advantages when longshore or pruitt have to play D on someone that can handle the ball on perimeter.

i know one thing, Coach D saw Brighton play RE twice and the first time they hung around and lost by 3 and then got waxed by 30. Bolton could possibly get upset if they run with Brighton. Deaton said that was the fastest team he has seen all year in Brighton.

i think all of them will be gone as well. If you look in district play JCM played 3 teams that are terrible. Hardin county isn't as good as they use to be, Munford only has one player and that is their PG Buck and then Brighton is quick but can't play with anyone in District 14. JCM hasn't had the competition this year to hang with any of the remaining teams from 14AAA.

i know they are good but i don't think Hardin County could have competed with Air Bud all by himself. RE will come out of this region with a 1 seed and i think the 2 seed will go to Craigmont. Don't think JCM can hang with either of them.

I was at this one and it was a pretty good game. Cordova got up by about 8 at half and then in the second half it was just a game of runs. JCM comes back to take 5 point lead and then CHS goes on 10-0 run. Down the stretch though CHS took way to many threes. Cordova had the ball with the score tied and a chance for a last shot. They turned it over and JCM made 3 great passes to lay it in with 1.5 remaining. CHS tried to get a shot off but didnt. If either team would have just slowed down and made the other team work on defense then they would have won by 10-15 but neither did and it was all run and gun.

You said that most inner city families can't afford to send their kids to college so it's the coaches responsibility to get coaches to come watch your kid or send film out. Have you ever thought that maybe school is meant for more than just sports? You do know that they give academic scholarships out and your child could go to school to learn and not play basketball. I'm sure if your kid is good enough to play at the next level then college coaches will hear about here and make efforts to offer them something. All i'm saying though is you act like that your child can't go to college unless she gets a basketball scholarship, maybe they need to get it done in the classroom and not rely on basketball to get her through college but rely on her academics. You can't blame the coach for this one.
