  1. sf got their bats rolling this weekend against gleason and fulton on thursday. didn't get any wins friday or saturday but hit really well, if we get a litttle more out of our pitchers and play better D we could turn our season around. pitched great monday vs halls and won 6-3. bats came alive early and held on late.
  2. Any in west tn or west ky that you know about

Our district rule is you must either be in school at beginning until 11 or in before 11 and stay til the end. only exception is funerals. Must be in attendance at least half day
  5. FOR TEAMWORK AND BEING A FAMILY...REMEMBER THE TITANS AND GRIDIRON GANG
  6. i am planning on renovating our baseball field with a new backstop, netting, and concrete block dugouts..has anyone recently improved their stadiums in this manner, if so what kind of budget am i looking at...i plan on having 3 and a half foot wall from dugout to dugout with at least 20 ft netting on top...both dugouts block approx 35 ft
  7. i heard he was taking over a local bank after a longtime banker retires
  8. you graduate in 98 or 99
  9. beating all of those schools in a season is a big accomplishment. the only time i remember that is during the state championship run...wow were you a player on that team...if so congrats but that is a rarity
  10. he went to jcm his first freshman year and then south fulton
  11. Several factors contribute. The coaching change was a necessary one. But that is just step one. The last 3-5 years south fulton has had some of the smallest graduating classes in the history of the school. Somewhere between 40 and 50 students makes a difference when you normally avg between 70 and 80 each year. Another problem is several kids coming out of the jr high ranks that need to be playing are choosing football or baseball or not playing anything all together. A very short time ago it was common to see 4 or 5 kids in a class playing all 3 major sports but today you're lucky if they're are 2 in the entire school. Look at the sf teams of the past. All good teams had one thing in common. The same kids playing and leading in all sports not just one. Support has always been there..even on down years south fulton has always traveled well and brought a great fan base. Athletically south fulton is lacking that dominant player that stands above everyone else.. Take the past 15 years there was always that one guy that you could build a team around. Role players are a thing of the past..If you can't start or or play alot of minutes kids are quitting. This is just my opinion from a lifetime red devil supporter. GO BIG RED!!!
  12. not only were they 0-4 they had been shutout of every game...my question is how do you approach the seniors which have worked for 3 yrs preparing for their sr year. they may not win a game but your sr year is something you'll never forget...a board of ed should not take that away from a young man
  13. I saw on sportscenter tonight that both were selected to represent the east in the mcds all american game on march 29....when was the last time 2 went from tennessee the same year if ever
  14. he broke it at south fulton monday night scoring 25 points with 45 seconds to go in the second qtr and never saw the floor again....the record breaker was on a 22 footer with a hand in his face.
  15. 1 plays 8-10 winner 2 plays 7-9 winner 3 plays 6 in 2s bracket 4 plays 5 in 1s bracket you can say 7-8-9-10 are play in games
